I think sometimes we can get so wrapped up into reading that we forget the reality we're living. Sometimes the words we read can have an effect on our "reactions" to situations, try not to hold onto the interpretations too much. Come up with your own with what you are experiencing! Think about the same philosophy for natal charts when it comes to hard aspects... some of the most dynamic and successful people have had lots of squares or "challenges" within their charts. I would say certain aspects in synastry or composite renderings are hard to move past, but anything can be done. The charts are simply maps, but there are infinite ways to handle the energies present IP: Logged |

of course. people who shouldn't get married based on their synastry chart get married anyway. as long as there is attraction of some sort, you can make it work.IP: Logged |

Thank youWe have synastry north and south nodes squaring pretty much everything, chiron opposing pretty much all planets, moon opposite moon, saturn square uranus, mars square moon....and it goes on and on. IP: Logged |

Maybe try and delve into the houses this is happening in (if you can), & try to find the balance in the oppositions. Chiron is also a very under the surface shamanic energy. I love it, but it hurts. Those contacts can really bring up whats under the surface in a major way. My in laws who have been married for 38 years have a moon opposition and it works beautifully for them IP: Logged |

Our composite NN is in the 12th house. I'm not sure what that means. We have a loaded 6th house composite (sun, mercury, mars, south node, uranus, venus).I don't really know enough to make sense of it all IP: Logged |

I guess it all depends upon what you mean by "bad." Personally, I would never make any decision about my life, especially about who I'm going to have a relationship with, based upon astrology. I find astrology fascinating, fun and helpful for understanding things, but I'm not a fatalist at all. I tend to think of "bad" aspects as opportunities for growth. The synastry and composite of my current relationship isn't the greatest, but so far (over a year), it's the best relationship of my whole life. IP: Logged |

Sorry I should have been more specific with my definition. Bad = aspects that have the reputation for resulting in break-ups.I believe I read somewhere that Vedic astrology considers difficult Venus/Node aspects as being detriment, and any difficult aspect between Saturn and NN as a definite break-up. We have more squares and oppositions than anything, and not a lot of easy aspects. IP: Logged |

I guess the ultimate question to ask yourself is how do YOU feel in your relationship? We can convince ourselves of just about anything if we will it. Astrology can be a self-fulfilling prophecy if you start thinking "well this will never work because of X aspect" or "we're going to fight all the time because of X aspect" or "I must not really love him because X aspect is missing" - our minds can play very dangerous games with us. I've been there because the synastry with my partner isn't all that great either - a few notorious squares and some missing "key" aspects. Then you start wonder how it would feel to meet your "soulmate" and experience THOSE aspects like others on this forum and that really messes with you. I've actually had thoughts of breaking up with him because of these things and then I give my head a shake and remember I have to actually LIVE my life and figure it out for myself instead of letting a circular diagram on the internet do it for me. There are so many intricacies of the human condition and of personal interaction that astrology cannot explain. Ultimately only you (being intimately involved with him) would know what your interaction is like. Trust your feelings and go from there. If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out, and you'll know when the time is right to move on. It's all part of the plan anyway IP: Logged |

Many of the aspects you describe are also strong and potentially binding aspects in synastry. Can you post the synastry and the composite? (no "aspect lines to all" please)------------------

I have no clue why you think these charts are bad?? His Saturn is a bit problematic; still, it is on the midpoint of your Mercury/Uranus, in opposition. What is the orb between your Mercury, your Uranus and this Saturn? Apart from that, there are strong contacts in there: Sun/Moon DW (with sign), Venus/Mars DW, Mars/Pluto DW, Moon/Pluto DW etc.------------------

Thanks for checking that out One astrologer stated it was a ticking time bomb, and another astrologers charts look different than these ones. What about his saturn may be problematic? IP: Logged |

His Saturn unaspected is probably the weakest spot in the synastry. Moon sq Mars makes a cross with MC/IC and the nodes, it looks stable to me.------------------
