In another thread, you wrote, "Nessus/Deja is classic for obsession with another person. When a client calls me totally obsessed, I, always, see this lol"

Can you explain this? People have historically blamed Pluto but Pluto has been involved in just about every single relationship I've been in (and some were casual).

For example, I had a relationship once I just couldn't let go of and I obsessed over it for 2 years. And I do mean a VERY unhealthy level of obsession (daily texting and leaving voicemails, crying every day, listening to his music just to hear his voice, etc.).

So what do I look for? How would Nessus or Deja be in aspect and to what?

I hope you don't mind my stepping in. I've done a lot of work with NESSUS/DEJA as I have it in dual conjunction, tropical, and tropical-to-Draco.

Start by adding in NESSUS (from the drop-down) and DEJANIRA (157) to get their placements. See if they're active in synastry.

Aubyanne,
If person A has Nessus&Deja conjunction over person B's Mars....who would be more obsessive?

Good question, Astra.

In my experience, one who has NESSUS-DEJA conjunct carries with them a powerful longing for obsessive relationships; likely has a few in their history. They might not necessarily have a 'taste' for the volatility, but they're familiar with it.

NESSUS is the obsessive one in any case. MARS may be driven to return the energy, however.

Ok, here is the synastry on the most obsessive experience I've ever had.

I'm on the inside, him on the outside.

Nessus/deja are more classic for that crazy obsession than is Pluto but Pluto is second.

If nessus/deja touch person points in the chart, that would be what I mean, such as the ASC, Sun, Moon, Venus, MC, DSC, Ic etc

If I am reading the chart correctly, his Dejanira is conjunct with my IC. That wouldn't make me the obsessed one though, would it?

No problem, Astra. I'm glad I was able to offer some insight. It's a toss-up, sometimes. Especially when quindeciles are involved in the synastry (and natally).

Geeky,

Could you be a bit more descriptive on how it was obsessive? As Ami was saying, there are different types of obsession, for sure, and the roots can be many things.

^ That's how. I just could NOT let go. I went so far downhill in my career, with my health, etc... the ONLY thing I seemed to care about was getting him back.

When I met him, I believed he was THE ONE. It was nothing I had ever felt before. We met on Christmas and it's still hard for me to function on that day. Everyone is all smiles and I still feel a loss. It's almost like when the relationship ended, a part of me died.

My eyes are really hurting, Geeky. I will try to look later or tomorrow.

But, as a general rule, the angle person/planet person and the Nessus person are BOTH obsessed lol

Moon opp. Neptune
Moon conj. Neptune
Sun sq Neptune

Might I say, an awful lot of hard aspects to Neptune there.

I did note that. I was just wondering if there was something else there.

This was... horrible. He really destroyed me. I didn't fall apart like this over anyone else. I was 32 at the time, so it's not like it was my first serious relationship or anything like that.

Eventually, I got sick of slowly dying and I started living again.

Your Pluto trine his Moon. I think it was a trine. Moon/Pluto is THE most powerful aspect with planets.

I write a lot about it. It is once in a lifetime. It is intense out the whazoo!!!!!

It feels like Healthclife running through the moors calling Kathy's name.

Nessus/deja and Moon/pluto is nuclear. I have been there and it was nuclear!

They both are, Astra. With these asteroids, the obsession seems to be on both sides!

How have you been? Did you get a house? How is the nursing?

Strong Nessus relationships seem really life changing due to the nature of the pain which is kind of like an inner fire burning away one's defenses lol

I have an article on this, if you are interested, Geeky.

Well, he certainly led me on.

I fell in love with him and then he started pushing me away saying he needed time. I believed him because he was going through some life stuff (mom died of cancer, dad committed suicide). I gave him his space, I wouldn't call when he said not to, didn't go over to his house when he wanted to be alone.

For months I stayed in this weird hold and then one day, I asked if he thought we should see other people. He FLIPPED OUT, told me how he was falling in love with me and couldn't believe I would ask such a thing blah blah and then broke it off. He texted me with so much hate and at the time, I thought that much hate only comes from someone who cares.

So I told him I wouldn't see anyone else and he said he could no longer trust me.

I told him I'd stand by and wait for him. He said he appreciated that and did want a relationship with me, but that we needed to go slow.

I did everything "right" (read: his way) and then one day he says to me (with the coldest tone you've ever heard), "I don't love you. I never f***ing loved you. Do you get it now?"

It came out of no where. I was just..... breathless. I literally couldn't breathe in that moment.

And what followed what such a pathetic display. The obsession. The calling. E-mailing. I tweeted to him relentlessly. I blogged about him. I cried on his voicemail. Begged.

I completely fell apart. Everything was so real to me and the hardest part is that I am actually very good at reading people.

It's just so mind boggling how much he toyed with me.

Thanks for the interpretation Ami Anne.
You talked about Moon trine Pluto earlier. I have Sun trine Pluto as well as the above Nessus conj. aspect.

I take it you were asking question to Aubyanne? Because your question doesn't make sense to me at all. lol

Oh WOW
Thanks for your story.
That's how Moon-Neptune magic/illusion played out for you. You were totally mesmerized.

You did have some nice aspects though.
Sun sextile Sun/Mercury
Venus sextile Mars
But your Venus was alone.
