What does it mean?

I've read it somewhere that the Vertex is a fated point in the chart and often Vertex connections are found in married individuals. This causes great attraction between the two individuals and is an indicator of past life ties between the two individuals.

I have this aspect with my partner, btw.

Pretty much a bit of the above. It tends to point to a fated relationship of a kind; with VENUS, it's often involving romance or art. Or both! Heh.

Thank you Aubyanne!
When we say fated, is the relationship bound to last? We are in a love relationship, married for 3 years.

I wouldn't call it a lasting aspect. The VX axis moves super fast, making it an excellent astrological timer, and it has a very sudden, jolting kind of energy to it that can't be ignored. It's karmic in nature, for sure, but can be equally transient. I see the axis as a necessary catalyst for important events and people in your life.

You were fated to meet, especially with VENUS, a relationship planet. Now look for something else in the synastry and composite to indicate that you're meant to stay together.

Thank you for the insight Blind writer! Makes a lot of sense! I started a new thread with our charts posted. Would you be willing to take a look of them if there are certain aspects that could indicate a lasting relationship? Many thanks!!!
