First, my ASC is conjunct my Uranus in Leo by one degree. My new guy's Lie is conjunct his Pluto (r) by two degrees and both of those are conjunct my ASC and Uranus. Our ASCs are trine, so this conjunction of aspects on my ASC are all trine his ASC in Sag. My Lie conjunct his Mars in Aqu (my 6th).

His Nessus is conjunct my Swindle (r) in Tau (my 9th) and my Destinn is conjunct his Swindle and Fortuna in Sag (my 5th). All of this within one to two degrees.

My Fortuna (r) conjunct his IC in Pis (my 8th).

His Dejanira conjunct my Venus and POF in Virgo (my 1st) within one to two degrees. His POF opposed his Moon in Pis.

His Karma conjunct my NN (2nd hse) by two degrees.

And we have a ton of Saturn aspects.

I've discovered that scary asteroid patterns need to be very precise -- typically 0°-1°, or 1°30 at most -- activated prominently in natal, and carrying a theme across the charts. For example, if this were really a significant problem, you'd see it repeated in Draco.

Let's get to the more pragmatic question.

Did seeing these aspects alarm and surprise you? Did you feel as if they were elucidating an unexpressed fear? Are you paranoid that you're being deceived, lied to, or will be abandoned or abused? If so, does it seem this relationship is highlighting or illuminating those things -- or is it merely fear?

Nasty patterns certainly exist, but we can see the nicest things in the synastries of the most vile relationships, too. It's, as always, all relative, and requiring a bit of the commonsense test to clear the initial hurdles.

Aubyanne, thank you. Newbie question: Am I looking for the repeated theme in Draco through natal? Or in Draco through our synastry/composite charts?

In his natal, nearly all within 1.0 degree or less (one at 1.5 degrees; I mis-read your note):

I'm not sure if there is a natal theme. And I'm not sure, again, how to follow through on the Draco.

The pragmatic question. I've had to deal with a lot of fear, panic really, at times. There have been behaviors and situations that remind me of the horrors of abuse I left behind. I'm not sure if these are healthy intuitive "red flags" or simply innocent situations that trigger fear of being hurt again. So I turned to astrology for some answers, once again. And got even more scared. Obviously!

'the precision of some of these -mildly- surprised me. Why mildly?
Cause I don`t know I really cant see myself abusing him in any way.
