I have always astral travelled and had access to other dimensions but its not something i can easily relax into. I find it a little scary. And as I said before, I have visitors come to me while i'm trying to sleep. Very unnerving.

Dimensional travel and dreaming are two totally different things. I'm learning that, for some of us who are less able to shut down their logical minds, dreaming (theta and delta wave state) may be the only time our brains CAN actually travel. And, thus, that leaves dreaming. But I can always tell when I've travelled, even if I was only half-lucid. I never 'awaken'; I was always in some sort of trance state from which I don't awaken as much as simply open my eyes. Odd, considering that I'm thinking I must be going into REM, but it may only be delta wave state. That's going to take more focussed research.

It can be daunting, and unnerving. Although, I'll be honest; when I realised I was travelling to other eigenstates, I did get pretty excited. A little nervous, too. But then I've lucid dreamt all of my life, and half-lucid travelling is 80% of my dreaming life. Over time, I've created 'cues' to determine whether I'm dreaming or not, if things are getting a bit surreal, and I know how to verify I'm dreaming when in the dreamstate. My own personal 'spinning top', as it were. (Something Chris Nolan and I have very much in common.)

But there are a few 'quirks' that it's been tough getting used to. Having two separate memory tracks running simultaneously is a little confusing at first, for example. Such as realising that my karmic soulmate and I are best buds, and he lives in LA. Then immediately finding the 'evidence' thereafter on my phone -- tonnes of photos we'd taken, and, in this sort of slightly uncertain voice, calling him with a feature on my phone which -- sadly -- is not actually on my phone. And realising how many times I've done this.

That was the first 'trip' back in March. I thought it was a one-off, until it happened again in July. That one was bizarre. It started the same way -- the 'transition' -- for lack of better, but this time, I had full telepathy with my twin. He was 'present' but not physically there. I could communicate with him with ease this way.

A prevailing thought when visiting eigenstates which are closely related to my primarily-viewed one, is to be very mindful of how I interact with others. Strange, how that was a strong thought the first time, so, when I 'returned', I was very conscious of it, and made it a point to -- cautiously -- interact with my stepdaughter.

I was able to 'check' that this was a closely related eigenstate trip by her later revealing an important detail. She had just stepped from the bath and had her hair wrapped in a light green towel. Our conversation was nothing eventful; I was sort of giddy, and she was looking at me with mild confusion over why I was so oddly cheerful. I lied, of course. Though I'll flat out tell people when they were present in a dream of mine -- in the dream itself, as it's happening -- I wasn't sure of 'these rules' yet, and didn't want to throw something off kilter. Paranoid, yes, but it's not a bad move.

Later, as we were leaving, I noticed the light green towel folded on the hamper in the bathroom where we'd had our conversation 'over there'. While it's arguably a curious question, I asked if she'd used it at any point during the trip, (we were staying in my adolescent home in my hometown with my parents) and she said she hadn't -- but that she'd thought to. She even volunteered, 'I was going to wrap my hair up in it, but then I forgot that I don't actually know how to do that.'

The scientist in me was thrilled by this news. Everett, per the many-worlds hypothesis theorises how each eigenstate is independently created with every decision we make. An alternate eigenstate emerges with the choice we didn't make. If we were deciding between a banana and muffin for breakfast, and we chose the banana here, elsewhere we got the muffin -- that sort of thing.

And so, here, she couldn't wrap her hair properly in said towel, but there, she knew how to, and did so.

Really, 'time travel' -- which is, in essence, dimensional travel or eigenstate-shifting -- can be truly mundane, and almost -- almost -- boring. Unless you're very conscious of everything that's happening, and taking notes. Heh!

I'm kind of flabbergasted that I was actually fully lucid my second trip, and got to apply all of the theories, or test whatever I'd been evaluating, 'over here' for the 4 months' interim. I remember being very disheartened after that single trip in March -- and absolutely stunned when it happened in July.

Needless to say, I don't have control over it yet. But I'm learning it's possible, the signs to look for, and how to monitor my experiences very closely when 'there'.

When I was a kid I would stress about that. I was born with this idea that that any decision I make no matter how small can alter the course of things, I made a conscious decision at a young age to stop worrying about it though...

I have pholus in the 4th actually but I am guessing you must have it conjunct exact your IC! Is that so? I feel it would explain a lot..

Why Uranus??

Uranus rules astral projection, out of the body experience,vivid dreams etc. it is the access point to the astral plane and the akashic records.

90% of the time Uranus is a primary factor in these experiences.

Had my LACRIMOSA return at the time with brutal tSATURN tossed in. tSATURN is slowly crawling toward my SUN right now, too. I can't get much lower, so I have to hope that things will improve. My solar return (in a few days) is a mixed bag, and I don't know what to make of it. (It's a miracle I can spell correctly, much less analyze anything in-depth.)

I had dreams where my girl was back and well, and while those hurt on waking to harsh reality, I haven't had any lately, and that's a whole other level of loneliness (I think to myself, "why can't I find her, here nor there?"). I'm kind of lost right now, so I get disoriented easily by Other States.

Transit Lacrimosa is on my AC, just passed it, it was exact on my AC on Friday by 0.01. Yep I have been feeling lousy, my Period finally arrived Friday early after delaying for almost 3 weeks something that never happens and I am thinking that Transit Pandora right on my Venus this month trining my AC and inconjuncting my Moon had something to do with messing the rhythm of my cycle. It has been an odd month.

I like to think she adopted me, rather than the other way around. It was practically love at first sight, and we were as close as can be. She was my dear heart, my light and joy. She was a veritable piece of me, and now after only 11 years, she's just suddenly gone, torn away by cancer.

Trying to control dreams and astral travel is like trying to predict who you're going to encounter during the day. You can try, even think it likely, but you never really know. So-and-so may call in sick, or maybe you get sick, or maybe things get hectic and your so-called plans fly out the window. You can always try, but there are no guarantees. Your analogy of a "gift" is appropriate.

That's the best description of it, too. Yeah, that was insane. I'm so glad that we both felt oddly 'prolific'. Had I not written so much of that down -- even in scattered places, and more shorthand -- I wouldn't have been able to make so many important connexions later.

But it'll always boggle my mind how we both had those intense travels all along that same week. Though, I didn't even begin fully lucidly travelling until the DW of tCHIRON-TARDIS, and tTARDIS-CHIRON. I'm gonna say tPSYCHE was in there, too. I think it started out travelling with tPSYCHE and then just hit my CHIRON like mad.
