Not sure if I understood your question correctly but I'll offer an explanation.Conjunctions can only happen when they're in the same sign as far as I know. IP: Logged |

Not true, they can happen if one planet, say Mars, is at 29' of a sign and Venus is at 0' of the next sign. Not sure how this plays out, apparently the effect is lessened but I don't know to what degree. IP: Logged |

ditto. it's an out of sign conjunction, but they would have to be very close. if the conjunction occurs in the same sign the couple will go about attracting one another in a similar fashion because - ultimately - they share the energy of the same sign, it'd be flowing in the sense that the attraction would be there, and also backed up by actions that BOTH people enjoy and are familiar with. it if occurs out of sign, then you still have the basic attraction, but the way in which each partner responds or attracts the other may be off-putting to the other because they might not understand that approach. for example, a mars in leo guy who approaches a venus in leo woman will court her in the manner she'd like (forward, upfront). if a mars in leo guy comes across a venus in virgo girl the approach he takes (forward) might scare her off, but she'd like it anyway and likely respond favorably because the conjunction still exists. personally, it's not my favorite aspect when they touch out of sign because the core energies are still quite different and don't go naturally together. Duh me, I should of been able to deduce what you guys said on my own.Very good explanations. Sounds to me like out of sign conjunctions spell problems down the road? Wouldn't be easy for that Venus Virgo and that Mars Leo to get along forever without serious work. IP: Logged |

The conjunction will emphasize the characteristics of that sign/house. You take what Venus in that sign means and add it to what Mars in that sign means Their energy would be blended. But the houses where the conjunction falls (for each partner) would matter too. When a conjunction occurs, the aspects that planet receives in the natal chart (for each partner) are strongly felt by the couple. For example, someone having Venus square Pluto in their natal chart will feel this square much stronger (for their Venus) with a Mars conjuncting their Venus. But they will feel it together, like a unit, coupled with the aspects Mars brings in the interaction. ------------------

My friend has Venus conjunct her ex's Mars in Aries. From what I gather their physical chemistry is out of this world, in a directly sexual kinda way.If there's a Venus-Mars conjunction in Taurus I would expect there to be more sensuality, slowness overall. Venus-Mars in Gemini would involve communication, verbal seduction, compliments... Venus-Mars in Cancer: lots of emotionality and trust grounded in sentimental exchanges Venus-Mars in Virgo: serving one another, delighting each other with thoughtful gestures, sacrificing on each other's behalf... and so on I'm just taking the main signature of each sign and imagining that energy flowing without hindrance between two people. My virgo mars is at 27 degrees, and my boyfriends libra venus is at 1 degree, so we still have the conjunction but in virgo-libra... does anybody know how that is different? I think libra and virgo is some of the more similar signs maybe... but I also do believe in cusp signs, meaning that when a sign is above 26 degrees it's on the cusp, and then it's almost floating into the other sign, so it will at least "understand" the next sign a lot more and it will not reflect it's own core values that strong anymore?IP: Logged |
