Hi, everyone!

Newbie here. I recently met a guy I really like and, in my opinion, have terrific chemistry with. I ran a quick compatibility comparison using Café Astrology’s composite tool (because I don’t know his birth time yet) and was wondering if those who are more knowledgeable about Astrology could give me any insights into if this has any long-term potential. We seem to have a lot of good and a little bad in there, but I’m not too adept at interpreting synastry comparisons (yet). I guess the part that has me nervous/questioning is the amount of Uranus present. He’s been on my mind a lot, but I can’t really tell if the aspects support a mutual like or if this is one-sided. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here’s the quick breakdown (his planets are first/on the left):

Sun Square Mercury 2.33
Sun Conjunction Mars 3.00
Mercury Trine Uranus 3.60
Venus Sextile Mercury 1.24
Venus Conjunction Jupiter 2.17
Mars Opposition Pluto 3.40
Jupiter Opposition Mars 0.48
Saturn Trine Mercury 3.13
Saturn Trine Venus 2.31
Uranus Conjunction Sun 4.16
Uranus Sextile Neptune 1.12
Uranus Conjunction Pluto 0.22
Neptune Trine Mars 3.30
Neptune Square Jupiter 2.55

I'll give it a look when I get home tonight. Could you put up the synastry chart?

HOW TO GET YOUR CHART
1. Go to www.astro.com . You can create a free account or enter your birth data as a guest; however, creating an account will allow you to save your information – great for trying the different charts both for yourself and for others in your life. If you don’t know the exact time of your birth, do your best to find out – it *is* important.
2. Go to “Free Horoscopes” and then to “Extended Chart Selection.”
3. “Natal Chart Wheel” is the default, but you will need to go to “House System” (under “Options” use the drop-down to change to “equal”).
4. Click on “Click here to show the Chart,” then click on the chart which will appear.
5. Right-click and save the chart to your desktop.
HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR CHART
1. Create a free account at www.photobucket.com .
2. Select “Upload Now” which will bring up “Select Photos and Videos.”
3. Navigate to your desktop and select.
4. On right, click “Save and continue to my album.”
5. When you hover the mouse pointer over the chart, you will see that a box appears with a few options. If you need to edit out your name or anything else you don’t feel comfortable sharing on the boards, “edit” is in the top band of options. Select “edit” which opens your chart and provides editing options. Go to the tab “Decorate,” and you will see a number of icons, one of which is an eraser. Erase what you need to, and click “Replace original.”
6. Saving should take you to a new screen where you can see your chart and to the right, a bank of options to “Share this photo.” Click on the IMG code, which will flash and let you know that you’ve copied the link.
7. Go to your thread, open a new post and paste your link.
8. Don’t move or delete your chart from Photobucket, because the link only goes to where the chart was saved!

So here's my input, I'm not familiar about all these aspects but I think I'll be better than nothing but hopefully more people chime in with their experiences.

First thing I noticed was all your axis are conjunct. Your Ascendant is conjunct their Descendant and their Descendant is conjunct your Ascendant.

Some people won't agree with me but in my experience this is important. It means you are both each others physical ideals so there's a good amount of physical attraction between both of you as the ascendant represents your physical looks and how you come off to others initially and the way you initiate with the world while the descendant is what you look for in others - particularly a partner.

The next thing I looked at are your Saturns. All aspects with both Saturns are beneficial and this is very good. I've seen a lot of potential relationships blocked by Saturn and you have none of those issues.
Saturn in Virgo is sextiling(I always get the sextile/trine confused) the Moon, MC, and Mercury in Cancer so read up on these.
Saturn in Gemini is looking at Jupiter in Virgo, Venus in Libra, and Mercury in Scorpio.
A very supportive Saturn tends to make encounters binding and stabilizing. So when you think about your Saturns aspecting the Venus, Mercury and all else think of it as a very supportive aspects. Like Saturn aspect to Mercury could be supportive in the way that the relationship could be helpful in organizing the Mercury person's ideas or helping them work toward solidifying them. Saturn to the MC could point to a supportive partner toward a career.

True Node exactly conjunct the MC in Capricorn. This seems to me very important but someone more knowledgeable about this bit should expand on it.

I'm happy to see that Venus conjunct Jupiter, the last person I had this with it brought us open affection and good times. Most couples try to do right by each other but this aspect takes it to another level. You two will really try hard to do right by one another even in times of disagreements. This is one of the best aspects I've ever experienced and I'm glad to see you have it.

There's a Aries Mars opposite Libra Sun and Venus. I should know this intuitively being an Aries Mars with Venus Libra. The opposition between Venus and Mars can show attraction but discord with approach. I scared off a Venus or Mars Aquarius, I forget exactly, with my blunt Aries Mars approach. It happens. Thinking of my own Venus in Libra energy and my Mars in Aries energy the Venus might find the Mars in this case a little too forward, occasionally blunt. I honestly don't know if its really that big of an issue. Let me know what you think about these matters.

The Leo Mars conjunct Leo Sun is good, shows potential harmony with ego expression.

kk, that's what I got for now. I'm pretty tired. I'll look again later especially when other people add input!

But overall, from a quick glance, I would be surprised if this isn't a go. No Saturn blocks, physical attraction indicated with the ASC, DSC, and MaroppVenus, wonderful Venus-Jupiter conjunction (very valuable), and a very interesting north node conjunction with the MC!

Certainly there a negatives but it looks strong enough to at least start off.

Thank you so much for looking everything over, Koho! I appreciate it.

This guy and I have a very electric physical attraction to each other. I remembering initially catching his eye, but I didn’t think much of it. He was very quick to approach me after, and then I noticed how cute he is and the "sparks" began. Our first date started out very “run of the mill,” too, but it wasn’t long before we couldn’t keep our hands off one another. (I feel really bad for the people near us that night--embarrassing, lol! Like two 17-year-olds.) We just intuitively know how to touch the other, it seems.

His Ares Mars opposite my Venus Libra really hasn’t been too much a problem, thus far. I appreciate a forward man because I have very little time for games, so it takes a lot to scare off my soft, mushy Venus Libra self. My concern with the Mars/Venus is really his Venus in Virgo and my Mars in Leo--I've never known a Virgo to take a Leo seriously, lol.

I found the Saturn aspects very interesting because they are completely on his end, along with the Uranus aspects. I just don’t know what to think of this: His aim is likely to form a firm, solid relationship but not?! He very much strikes me as slightly elusive and “here today, gone tomorrow.” I’ve had the worst time with Uranus aspects in relationships, so it makes me want to run when I see them. I will be sure to read up on the Saturn aspects you mentioned as well.

Another negative I noticed tonight is that we are opposites in Chinese Astrology: I’m a goat/sheep and he’s an ox. I can see this being a recipe for disaster, lol.

Enjoy that ASC conjunct DSC double whammy. I can hardly imagine aspects that make you more good looking to each other.. or at least want to behave like 17 year olds :P

You also have other conjunctions to the ASC/DSC like that loose Mars to their AC, and that Sun/Pluto to the Libra ASC.

That True Node exact on the MC is so interesting, must be good.

That Mars in Aries will cause friction time to time but nothing major.

The Saturn aspects are from both your Saturns. So that's good!

I think you crazy kids are gonna go somewhere.

Hoping others chime in for ya.

Mars in Leo and the Venus in Virgo.. doesn't sound horribly problematic. I think the Venus in Virgo will just find the action style of the Leo showy but it could be a kinda 'cute' showy, or a 'I can put up with this'

I'm not too familiar with Leo energy

Thank you again for your input, KoHo! I’ve tried to track down some concrete information about the True Node exact MC, and it seems (from what little I can find) there will be a mutual support of career and/or social goals in play.

I didn’t notice the Saturn aspects for both of us (just him)… I need to take another look. We also have that Mars opposition Pluto in the mix which makes me a tad apprehensive.

I’m actually pretty reserved for a Mars in Leo person, IMO. However, I can still imagine a Venus Virgo rolling their eyes sometimes or, as you wrote, “I can put up with this.” Strangely, even though I think I’m quite tempered in Mars, people always assume I’m an Aries or Leo when guessing my sun sign.

I’m staying cautiously optimistic about us; however, he’s already pulled the infamous Leo disappearing act on me (no contact now going on over a week now), so I may have counted my chickens before they’ve hatched, lol.

Happy to help. People have given me good readings so I try to give back though my knowledge is still very specific to the signs I vibe with more.

I haven't dated Leos before so I never knew they pulled disappearing acts but I did notice that Mars in Aries again. I know from having it myself I go back and forth way way too often on my crushes. Gotta remember we're a rather impulsive lot and that includes crushes. I'd imagine Venus in Virgo to be shy and overanalyze or retreat from something. Maybe the Mars in Aries brings them in impulsively and then their Venus in Virgo scares off for a bit? :P

How tight is that Mars-Pluto opposition?

The Node exact MC description sounds accurate. I mean the node is the karmic destiny as some say and the MC is the career/public persona so it could just mean an appreciation from the node person to MC's public persona? Harmonious social goals as you said I guess.

I'd be surprised if it doesn't go anywhere so lets see if contact continues
