You know when you have a 'zingy' thing with someone? I've just told my zingy guy, after a bit of naughtiness together, that I can't be his friend anymore as we want different things. I want a relationship and he says he has issues and can't. So in the interests of self-preservation I've removed myself from the situation. He was someone I saw every day and I really miss him My question is, have I done the right thing? (I know in a sensible, level-headed way I have but that's not really how these things tend to work...) Some charts for you that I can't even pretend to understand... Synastry is here: Composite is here: (I like that it makes a star shape!). What does it tell you about how our relationship should be? Is there anything I should be aware of, or cautious of, or jumping for joy about?

The charts look good for a relationship, IMO. However, I would prefer to see astro.com charts, these are hard to read. And welcome to Interpersonal Astrology!

These are comfortable charts, IMO. You don't do much for his love houses though. maybe that's why he's having second thoughts?------------------

Well, actually, I was wrong...your Venus stellium and your Sun are in his 12th house, and his 5th house is in Pisces. Your Moon is on his 2nd cusp, and his DSC is in Taurus. There are important and good overlays Your overlays are good too. I don't see problems here. Is there something you would like to know in particular? You could also try to post the charts with love asteroids: Lilith, Juno, Vesta, Eros, Psyche, Amor, Valentine, Ceres, Pallas, Cupido, the Vertex. The love houses are generally the 5th, 7th and 8th and those corresponding to the signs on the cusps on your 5th, 7th and 8th

It's like learning another language! With asteroids... I suppose the important thing to know is how it applies to real life and what course of action/inaction I should take? It sounds like it's worth pursuing but maybe the pursuit is 'doing nothing. I know he's stubborn and likes to be in control. Are there any clues in his chart?
Oh, and I suppose I still don't know the answer to the original question - have I done the right thing by walking away from him and his friendship? Or should I just move on and find someone who isn't so indecisive!?! IP: Logged |

If you ask me this question, you always stumble into a wall: one simple rule "If a man wants you, he will pursue". It doesn't mean you shouldn't make yourself beautiful and walk around before him, in your circle of friends or wherever that is, to show him what he's about to loose. No need to wait for a guy, IMO, just go on with your life. ------------------

Yes. You did the right thing in spite of having good synastry and a nice composite. You can't make him participate and nothing good can come from trying to pursue someone who isn't interested in a relationship. If you're still feeling attached to him, you don't have to see other people, but you do need to involve yourself in your own life. If you find you have too much time on your hands and your mind wandering, take up a new hobby. I started making jewelry after a rough breakup. I also started a small container garden. I'm not really good at the gardening thing, but it was something else that demanded my attention and that was a nice distraction when I needed it. ------------------ “Most people would rather be sheep than stand on their own with antlers on.” IP: Logged |

So now I'm trying to steer clear and he won't leave me alone! Is there anything in the charts that would suggest this is going to be an ongoing pattern? I'd like to know a bit more about the dynamics between us (other than the ones I can see in real life)IP: Logged |

Why do you say he won't leave you alone? A synastry mostly shows the potential compatibility between two people. There are several levels of compatibility: planetary aspects, house overlays, matching symbolism etc. You can take a look here for some of them: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/000019-3.html You can search Lotis White's threads too, she has many interesting threads here about synastric compatibility and matching symbolism. ------------------

Hanging around me when I'm doing stuff (hovering in the background not really doing anything), wanting to make dinner for me, staring at me with lusty eyes...!It's hard to avoid someone you live with but I'm being polite but trying not to engage. I'm afraid I really don't understand the language of any of the charts: aspects, overlays, symbolism etc. I could google it but I don't know what I'm looking at in the first place! Lots to learn...
