I have recently read that a tight moon trine Jupiter in synastry means that one person makes the other one laugh. Which one do you think makes the other one laugh most? Actually I wanted to make this thread about any type of aspects that you think might create a lot of laughter in a relationship. I guess jupiter would have something to do with it since it is a jovial planet.

This is indeed a great aspect to have, I've experienced it before and I have it with my beau My Jupiter trines his Moon, his Jupiter quindeciles mine, so it's a DW, hence hard to say. I think it depends a lot on the Moon placement and the other "jovial" placements in one's chart (and possibly the Jupiter placement as well). In our case, I laugh to tears, me, because of my Leo Moon, Venus opp Jupiter, me thinks. Our Jupiters are in Pisces, so Jupiter is very happy here. He has a happy jovial nature but his Scorpio Moon and him being an introvert prevents him from rolling on the floor like I do. He is also very moody while I'm not, even a bit bi-polar to be honest: when he's high, he is floating, when he's down, he's sinking and dragging me lol (he tries, but I pull him up) When he is floating he is hilarious, goofy, but not the type of person to laugh to tears. The aspect not only gives great laughs and feeling happy and high with each other, but also the sense of humour is exalted. Our sense of humor is a match though, I suppose this comes from other placements as well, although Moon/Jupiter is an aspect contributing to a common sense of humor as well.

I was just about to make a thread about Jupiter aspects!

So i'll post here.

One thing i've noticed when my personal planets aspect a past girlfriend or regular friend's jupiter, they always laugh at my jokes, even if they are not funny!

Sometimes it feels like their faking it but at least they still "laugh" at my sometimes stupid jokes.

Hardly tight -- 6º sextile that's, honestly, as weak as water; my MOON to his JUP. Then, another loose sextile, this time 7º, his MOON to my JUP.

It results in a 4º conjunction in the composite, however, along with VENUS, MOON, VALENTINE, and ASC, though.

I've NO idea how that works out, in math-magic. But I will say that we've prevented a bloodbath thrice over by being able to make each other laugh. And he's a professional comedian. Yet, I could still keep him in stitches.

Yeah, it definitely helps.

I've got a tridecile (0º10) and triseptile (0º30) with my Guardian. I attribute the joviality in our relationship more to the Sagittarian influence, though, honestly. And Leo.

I've got an exact JUPITER-MOON sextile with my mom, and a 3º with my father. Family vacations have been surprisingly painless, for the most part. And I'm pretty sure that we got through EVERYTHING we've had to get through as a family -- NOT by laughing it off -- but by being optimistic, staying in good spirits, and genuine with each other. Stand up comedy is also something we all enjoy as a family.

I tend to collect late Cancerian MOONS, however, which throws a nice trine to my own MOON, and a sextile to my JUPITER. That seems a nice setup.

My CAP MOON 'collection' seemed a complete mystery to me, too, until I realised, yeah, it's late CAP, and there's a nice trine to my JUPITER. Believe me, when hard at work on a project, long hours recording or on set, it helps to have good humour.

You might deliver them cleverly enough, or they think you're so swell, they'll give you a pass.

My Jupiter in Capricorn opposes his moon in Cancer, and my Venus in Virgo sextiles. Also, his moon falls in my 5th house. We have fun together! That's good because we both like to have fun and are not especially chore-oriented people.

Incidentally, Jupiter in Capricorn is great for shining a light in the dark. When things suck, it provides perspective. Sometimes my life sucks so much I can't help but laugh at it.

We are dour comedians and black humor is our forte, but it IS humor.

I can't recall anyone I've known in rl that would often make me laugh. At least often enough to remember them as "that funny person". Kind of a bummer. My fav comedian's Jupiter makes only 1 aspect with my chart - Jupiter opposite Jupiter. It's close to my Venus but the orb is wide - 9 deg. Falls into my 5th house. My Jupiter is opposite his Mercury & Pholus and square ASC.

I wish I had a friend who would give me laughter attacks on a regular basis

my Jupiter trines his Venus at 0 degree orb ( also parallels it). He makes me roaring with laughter on almost a daily basis.
He f**ing makes me snort.

My Jupiter exactly quintiles his Moon and MC and also quintiles his Sun by a degree.
My Jupiter pretty much aspects all of his planets as a matter of fact (squares his Mercury, exactly semisquares his Venus, opposes his Mars and Jupiter, quindeciles his Saturn and DESC).

He makes me feel pretty good and jolly and carefree and always manages to put a smile onto my face, even though I KNOW that some of his jokes are just ... not funny, but something about him is so goofy and cute, even if a joke really bombs, the way he is looking so hopefully for applause (or forgiveness, when he notices himself how bad it was. lol), you just can`t help but smile.
