i only have experience with amor conjunct venus 0 degrees very tight in synastry i was the amor and she was the venus,
what i can tell you is that i was veeeeery in love with her, when things were going well between us i felt this love for her that was unconditional almost like i wanted to mother her, i was in love with her charm, chemistry, her beauty of the soul not necessarily her looks just the way she carried herself, everything she expressed through her venus i was unconditionally in love with, there was also this sweet communication between when things were going smooth for us buuuut i have to say that just having amor conjunct venus alone won't save a relationship if you have too many bad aspects. its nice to have in a ANY RELATIONSHIP its GREAT!! but sadly it doesn't save a relationship if there's TOO MANY challenges, red alert aspects. just my experience....
