I have read enough about emotional distance, cold and hot.. glue together, but emotional distance and so on...

does anybody has a POSITIVE experience from ths combo. I am taking the aspect isolated and I am aware that other factors play a role. I just want to know real cases when it has worked out well...

Many thanks

Cara

I don't have a personal experience with this, but this is a natural marriage aspect, Moon/Saturn are naturally opposed in the zodiac, on the Cancer/Cap axis. It is the balance of Moon (mother, wife) Saturn (father, husband).

Hard aspects between these two are common in the synastries and composites of long-term couples.

kinda. i have moon opp. saturn natally and my bf has moon opp. saturn natally, so we ended up with moon opp. saturn in the composite too. we have been together for 3+ years so far. the problem is that neither of us wants to marry (and never has). the aspect is very difficult because it pits emotional needs of the moon opposite the desire to be free and independent. we do struggle with that sometimes and often find that we take a lot of time for personal space/reflection within the relationship. we just talked last night for the first time in 15 days :-) that would kill other couples, but for us it is needed space. it is definitely not a natural marriage aspect, especially if either partner has it natally, because you have a natural fear of marriage; it inhibits the desire to be married if it appears in the natal. it's interesting for us, because since we both have it in natal it makes it easier to deal with in the composite. and there is some hot/cold and emotional distance to the relationship, but if you have the aspect in natal you want that, so it's actually a positive.

Funnily enough, my ex's moon opposes my saturn; and his saturn opposes my sun.

I can't TOTALLY isolate the effects of moon/saturn, but I think that the involvement of saturn is very binding!!!!! We both feel like we will never part - even though we can arrrrrrrgue lol.

I feel like I am the emotional/sunny one out of the two of us; and he is much more reserved etc. These differences bring us together, because we can see the value in the other's qualities, but sometimes it becomes too much for the both of us and we have to realise/remember that we are just different. It helps that we have Mercury trine Mercury and Moon trine Moon. We are ALWAYS willing to talk things through after a while - days/months.

i have it now with my bf and it works positive for us so far ..moon in cancer in 1st opposite saturn in capricorn in 7th.it comes from two trines in synastry the one trine-i am the moon has a 0'02 orb..i can tell he has the saturn role..sometimes he is strict with me but not cold..but i can tell that this come from his love for me..and honestly i can be pretty recklesss at times..he gives me balance and he shows me how i can be a better person and i love it

now on the other side with my ex we had a moon-saturn trine 1 degree plus a mercury-saturn trine also 1 degree plus a venus-saturn trine 2 degrees in our composite..great huh?not that great for us he acted like a strict father the one day and the other day like he didn't care at all..i felt really unstable and unbalanced in the relationship..it was a bad one and the composite had a love stellium and all trines and sextiles..but for the record the synastry was a difficult one ..overall i think synastry comes first
so i believe that difficult aspects can act positively and easy aspects can be not positive at all..all depends on the people, the maturity level and how they want or not make the relationship work

This sounds more like two Uranians natals and strong Uranus synastry. The Moon/Saturn opp in the natal makes people prone to log-term partnerships and taking them seriously. If your Uranus is strong, in combination with this opp, you may perceive marriage as a "death sentence", something for life. With a Moon/Saturn opp, the more emotionally involved you become, the more Saturnian you get. The more time passes (Saturn) , the more emotionally involved you become. For a young Uranian, this may seem scary.

It is interesting that, looking at it from the perspective of Aquarius, people with strong Uranus tendencies in the natal (Uranus to luminaries, Venus, Mars, ASC, angular) or strong Aqua become more Saturnian with age, whilst people with strong Aqua and Saturn in their natal, become more Uranian with age. For Aquarians,in time, Uranus turns into Saturn (for aquas with strong Saturn), and Saturn into Uranus (for Aquas with strong Uranus.

I have both Plutonian (heavy Scorpio) and Uranian influences and noticed that starting in my late 30s, I began to gravitate more towards the Uranian type relationships and attitudes and a general graduation from the deeply personal to the more collective or transpersonal themes. Maybe Scorpio being the antiscion of Aquarius? Or it could be progression or transit related also. Not quite the same as you're describing above but yes, I do think people evolve over time and it is particularly evident with outer planets.

What if both Saturn and Uranus are strong in natal chart?
