So this is a little embarrassing, but I've wanted to do this for awhile. I've been obsessive about this person for a few months and I want to know why. Before I didn't want to post the synastry because we don't have an actual relationship and have only spoken once, but I think this little obsession of mine is probably reason enough to ask for assistance in the interpretation. I want to know specifically if there's a reason that I can't get this person off my mind, and if the fascination might be mutual. I've made two charts, one with the love and attraction asteroids, and one with the dark asteroids. I included these because they often account for obsession, and because the whole thing doesn't feel lighthearted. I have this gut feeling that if anything were to come of this, it would not end well. I'm definitely not pursuing it, but my curiosity has gotten the better of me. Some things I noticed right off the bat: He has a Venus/Mars opposition which falls right on my ascendant/south node and descendant/north node. And his lust is conjunct my moon and lilith. Disclaimer: I don't know his birth time, so I guessed his ascendant in order to make the synastry chart. I am on the inside. You're a PAN conjunct SUN, and prone to obsession once a trigger is flipped. His AMOR could do it, but I'm suspecting his SAPPHO square it all. ADONIS conjunct APHRODITE is a passionate link, too. I remember once telling you that it depends on the chart, whether that's activated in a synastry. Given your SUN conjunct PAN, I'd say you'd find yourself hooked quickly. The synastry itself isn't bad. SUN seems to be trine MOON; that's time dependent, but it's close enough to count. It's front and centre for you with his VENUS in CANCER on your ASC. As for obsession, that's NESSUS. I think the NESSUS-PROSERPINA and PROSERPINA-CHIRON is indicative of a theme there. Things regarding leaving home, feeling uprooted, or 'stolen' from familiar surroundings. Check for Draco links to PLUTO. Mutual distance between SATURN and SADO (if you use it as a 'sadism marker' -- personally, I don't) is intriguing and will likely become a focal point of the composite. Now. Mutuality? His being a NESSUS-MOON shows he's got the potential to also be quite ruthless which came from childhood. I find it hard to believe that it'd be mutual without your knowing. Sure, he's a SUN-CHIRON, and may tend to be more contemplative and sensitive than the typical GEM, but NESSUS-MOON in LEO ... even if he was secretive about it or subtle, it'd be there. In this day and age, you can't NOT keep up with someone. He'd have invented some reason to keep close enough to at least have you near. It'd give him time to be able to figure out how to make a real move. Now he may not be a true NESSUS-MOON. Birthtime and all. But, you never know. Why do you feel you're obsessed? Do you tend towards obsessions and fantasy-driven desire-based attractions? IP: Logged |

Thank you so much for the reply and for being so thorough! I didn't realize sun-pan was obsessive! That's interesting. As far as the mutuality, I was asking more if there's the potential for mutuality rather than "is it mutual." We've never actually met in person so I don't think it's possible for it to be mutual. I did get sort of a vibe that there was some potential when we chatted, but it would be impossible to say because the interaction was so brief. I'm asking more about the potential for it in the synastry. What kind of connection would his lust on my moon-Lilith conjunction entail? I'm not sure why I am so obsessed. I feel like circumstances in my personal life have made me more vulnerable and this obsession is sort of an escapism type of thing. IP: Logged |

Bump=) Could you please tell me your interpretation of Sun-Pan? The only thing I've read repeatedly about Pan is that it has to do with earthiness/nature and sensuality. IP: Logged | |
