Just wanted to know if the total figure given on Cafe Astrology, at the bottom and next to the orbs/values columns in a compatability reading is important?

Is it, the higher the total value next to orb/value columns the better?

The higher the value, the more important they deem the aspects.
Value seems to be derived from the closeness of orb and what planets make the aspects.

However like always it needs to be taken with a grain of salt as all computer analysis are.

I don't mean to hyjack, but since the question was already answered I hope it's ok.

@Ceridwen You are pretty knowledgeable in Vedic Astrology correct? Can we email? I have beginner knowledge and each week I try to learn a little more. I'm about to purchase a vedic software and would like someone to compare notes with on charts etc. if you're up for it.
