Would it still feel like a 7th house activation to the house person? I mean if they're attracted to Aries energy I imagine it would still play

Planets in the sign of the Dsc can attract from any degree of that sign because of the match in energy patterns and style. A planet in Leo will act like a Leo whether it's at 0 degrees or 29 degrees. Even if those planets fall into the 6th house, if they're in the sign of the Dsc there's still an 'echo' of the 7th house to them, mixed in with all the 6th house stuff.

If a planet in any degree of the Dsc sign, or the Dsc ruler's sign, in our partner's chart aspects our chart tightly we can really feel their energy as an attractive force. Aspects to our chart from the sign of our Dsc tend to attract.

Conjunctions to the Dsc can attract whether the planet is in the 7th house or the 6th house. Conjunctions to the Dsc are potent.

That being said, planets in the 7th house do have something extra going for them. The Venus/7th house feeling is naturally intensified... But that's only if those planets aspect our chart. If someone puts a planet in our 7th house but it aspects nothing in our chart we may not 'feel' this planet. Aspects = energy exchange. If there's no energy exchange, there are no feelings.

Aspects to our chart from the sign of our Dsc tend to attract." my girlfriend's sun is in aries 13 degrees in the 7th house and my moon is in aries 11 degrees in the 7th house, even though her sun in aries is not conjuncting my DESC in aries at 2 degrees i still feel this magnetic attraction to her the qualities desciprtions for sun opposition ascendant, i always wondered why is that?? even though its not close to degree??? my vertex is also in aries 9 degrees in the 7th house and so is her vertex in aries at 20 degrees in the 7th house i still feel this magnetic pool and attraction even though its not conjuncting to less then 3 degrees.
