Hi All, Anyone have some insight as to how this aspect might play out in a relationship? I know that all aspects must be taken into account in the composite as well as in a synastry chart in order to understand the relationship, but I saw this in a composite with a friend of mine and was curious about its significance.Composite: Chiron: Gemini 03 degrees 8H NN: Gemini 01 Degree 8H This particular aspect also jumped out at me because my Chiron is also in Gemini (19 Degrees 7H). I'm new to astrology, but would this aspect support healing where chiron is concerned? Or is the opposite true? IP: Logged |

The life path/destiny of the relationship is strongly connected to Chirotic values: wounds opening and healing, teaching, learning, protecting, guiding, transforming the other and yourself, a common initiation. With Chiron in Gemini: the power of words to wound and heal, teaching, learning, anything Mercurial. Also, look at the houses Mercury rules and the house of the conjunction. Awesome. Thanks LeeLoo2014 I'm curious - both are located in the 8th house, which from the little bit I've read, is a highly sexual house (furthermore, a sexuality that lacks intimacy and is more about power) that can also be obsessive and destructive. Since this is a friendship, what will the 8th House bring to this aspect? I've also read that the 8th House can indicate a short-term attachment. Since the NN is in the 8th House, could this indicate that once the 'obsession' wears off the friendship will have run its course? Just as an FYI, it looks like Mercury rules the 9th and the 11th Houses in the composite. IP: Logged |

The 8th house IS the house of intimacy, so no, sexual interactions there should be very intimate: it's the realm of the Scorpio, so sex is taken to a deep level. I don't think comp NN in the 8th should necessarily be short-term, the only reason this could happen is because a too intense 8th house emphasis may lead to an intense, transformative relationship, and when the transformation is over, so is the relationship. But it doesn't have to be this way. 8th house is also a major relationship house, a house of karma and deep bonds. With Mercury ruling those houses, the impact of Chiron is most likely psychological, which is another major meaning of the 8th. All significant psychological lessons/initiations are going through the 8th, somehow. ------------------

Thanks so much for clarifying LeeLoo! Your description makes a lot more sense (and isn't as depressing lol). What would your interpretation be of this same conjunction in the 5th house? IP: Logged | |
