Topic: What causes familiarity in synastry ?

I m really curious about this, have any of u met someone & after sometime felt this : "hey! Have I ever meet this someone b4 somewhere ?" kind of familarity & when u try to recall they give u a feeling of as though they were like a family member to you ?Any other factors that cause this "familiarity in synastry other than south node conjunt moon, personal planets contact to IC / 4th house ... If lets say both parties share similar natal aspects. Will familiarity be felt too ? Wat about personal planets contact to vertex ??

When I meet someone with a Mars conjunct South Node,it's almost like "we have to finish what we started a long time ago". Sexaully ofcourse  Luckily I have this aspect with my BF. And in bed, we were extremely "familiar" with each other's techniques.There was no cringing and awkward sounds of discomfort. IP: Logged |

Yeah I was also going to say conjunctions to south node. Although I quickly "outgrow" people who put something on my SN (unless, possibly, they also put something on my NN). One person had his mars there and at first I was attracted to him/sensed something familiar about him. It was like I'd seen him before although I'm pretty sure I hadn't. The attraction was mutual and we started talking and became friends, but I found him too abrasive and rude...even creepy, so I cut ties with him. Another guy had his Venus there and he just thought I was the greatest, but he flirted and pursued me even though I was involved with someone, so I cut ties who him too. In short, south node aspects...but I think with this familiarity becomes "too familiar" and you want to get away. At least in my experience. IP: Logged |

Omg!!!! I just met a guy who gives me crazy familiar feeling!!! He reminds me of my ex... But the good part of my ex that I used to love. His Mars is right on my SN.. so I was thinking that is why! His bday is actually a month from my ex so some of the outer planet aspects are the same in synastry (i.e. I had it with my ex). I think that's also why I feel so much familiarity.. IP: Logged |

Interesting! Do you and your boyfriend have any other "hot" aspects in synastry?

YES! south node conjunct IC brings on "I am home with you and you feel like family" But this wasn't so much immediate. Took me 8 years to feel this way. IP: Logged |

NN/SN conjunct ASC/DESC. SN conjunct Sun, Venus especially DW. Feeling of "home" and "family" I noticed intensely on the first day we spent together. My Moon and Venus is in the other's 4H, and they aren't conjunct the IC. IP: Logged |
