Hi,I was just wondering whether any of you have ever experience this planet/house overlay in synastry? If so, were you the moon or 7th house/descendant person and what did it feel like i.e. did you experience it as a powerful linkage or was it a rather subtle influence? Also did you get the impression that it was more strongly felt by the moon or the house person? Would be great if you could share your experience in relationships, many thanks in advance!

Hi there ^_^ my bf's Pisces Moon doesn't conjunct my Pisces DC, but it sits on my 7th house.. I guess that in relationships I tend to be like a Pisces (as it is my DC - AC is about how we are to ourselves, while DC is about how we are to others), no matter how Aries (I have Aries stellium) I am.. and he makes me feel more and more like that lol.. ^_^;
Astrologically, I'd say that if person A has Moon on person B's 7th house, then A's emotions intensifies more the DC side of B, while B shows his/her DC traits also affects A's emotions (specially if Moon and DC conjuncts).
Personally I love this positition.. =^_^=

I have moon conj venus so its difficult to isolate em, But in general it feels as if it's difficult to strike a balance between what each of us is comfortable with. My moon in their 7th, I want us to eat this food, live in this type of environment, etc and its difficult to compromise but at the same time it feels that its necessary to create this balance because this is someone I feel in tune with. So its touch and go on that end, but with the hope for something workable.

Their moon in my 7th....they seem to be able to intuit what im going through VERY well [this might be due to my merc being in the 7th, but this intuition has happened when their moon is well out of orb for conjunction] ~ so that's slightly off-putting. But their intuitions are actually positive because that openness is whats needed for a more honest relationship/friendship [whereas on my own in relation to them I generally wouldnt open up and say what i was going through].

This is interesting. I started a similar post and I was wondering about my Pisces moon being on someone's DC or in the 7th house. I'll keep my eye to see if what answers we get.

To have someones Moon in your 7th house/ Desc (each others moon) is a good aspect.Looked it up on the net, says it indiactes an ideal partner. Here;

You’re my Ideal: Moon sign in partners 7th house (DC)

Moon 7th house
The Moon in partner's seventh house is often found in romantic or marital relationships. This is especially true if the placement is near the descendant or the seventh house cusp. The family of one or both of you may play an important role in the relationship; family or domestic issues often come into sharp focus. A seventh house Moon usually denotes significant ups and downs in the affair, and there is a keen awareness of each other's moods and feelings. The Moon individual is apt to bring a good deal of support and understanding to the relationship

Not bad...

Catch up with ya later

What if the Moon is in the partner's 6th house, but tightly conjunct the DSC? Would you get the same positive effect?

Is itmore important to be in the 7th house or conjunct the Dsc?

My ex boyfriend's moon conjuncts my descendant in my 6th house, so I just consider it the 7th house. We had a extremely deep subconscious connection, but our chart was all angle connections. His sun was on my Ascendant, my sun was on his IC, and my North Node conjuncts his Saturn on his MidHeaven. We also have moon conjunct pluto in our composite chart. So maybe all of these is why the connection was so deep. It was definitely felt by both of us. He use to say, "you are the only girl who scares the hell out of me."

that's sweet, earthwater

i agree, if it's tightly conj the dsc it will have influence on the 7th, esp if its 3 deg or less and in the same sign. if its a different sign but within close orb, i say count it but be aware that how it appears will have a greater range, as in it will resonate to the tune of moon conj dsc overall but the individual notes than can be heard will echo the moon sign at times more than the dsc sign. if that makes sense.

edit, my opinion is if it's conjunct an angle from either side it's going to have more influence than if it's just in that angular house.

My descendant is in Scorpio and his moon (my ex) is 2 degrees off it in Scorpio, 6th house side. His Vertex also conjuncts my descendant by 2 degrees 7th house side. Hmmm, that could explain the depth also. I just love the telepathy. He said it makes him nervous I know all his secrets. Of course they will always be safe with me.
I can always tell when something bad happens to him, I just feel it. Something good, I would never know but something bad... I instantly pick up on it even if I hadn't seen or talked to him in years. He only has this connection when he sees me then he zero's in on exactly what I am feeling and thinking, but for me I could be on Pluto and still know what's going on with him. It has to be the Scorpio descendant.

------ Oh I completely AGREE! You are so right. Conjunctions on angles have a much greater influence. He conjuncts my Ascendant / descendant and I conjunct his IC and Midheaven. Very close degrees. Super Powers UNITE! LOL!

that's cool earthwater, people we meet like that are very special, but the best connections can be so scary, esp. for someone who's not ready for that intimacy. i agree on the telepathy how rare it is, very special and close indeed.

I would definately agree concerning angle conjunctions. A moon conjuncting someones DC should mean a very powerful connection. The closer the orb the more intense it will be felt. the moon can be on either side of the cusp, as long its under 3 or 4 degree orb it will be definitely felt alot and often. I think in cafeastrology relationships compatibility section this aspect is placed in teh category of the most powerful connections, others being:

sun con DC
moon con NN
sun con NN
sun,moon,NN, ASC/DC, Vtx con sun/moon midpoint
sun con Vtx
moon con Vtx
Vtx con DC
Vtx con the nodes
sun in partners 7th

In general i would say that any angle(Vtx/anti Vtx, ASc/DC, MC/IC) conjunction or opposition with the luminaries and peronal planets is a VERY important compability marker. The bonds within such aspects are very strong and will be felt sooner or later. All these aspects in synastry can very well signify a soulmate potential and connection. However it is always up to people to decide how to handle their relationships!

Ip personally have with this girl:

sun con her IC 3°41'
moon con her DC 3°29' its in 6th house sam sign.

i also have my moon opposite her NN, close orb of 6°

we have MC/IC axis conjunction 2°27'
ASC/VTX double whammy conjunction within one degree.

she has sun in my 7th close orb con with my DC 5°35' and her venus con my DC 5°35' same sign but in 6th. her sun/venus midpoint falls exactly on my DC.

So yeah there is a bond between us, at least i feel it, and its very strong!

And yeah sun on someones IC is perhaps not so much mentioned but i think its as important as a sun on someone DC would be. It creates a family feeling a sense of security and partnership, which is very important in relationships especially between married couples. I would agree also that this aspect is commonly found between family members, it makes total sense.

I completely agree with the sun being on someones IC. That creates a very close "family bond". When I was dating my ex and even when we weren't dating, I was always involved in very private matters. Not regular ones but dire ones.
I contribute it to my sun on his IC and his moon on my DC. He even yelled at me once when we were fighting.
"YOU should be there no matter what!!! No matter what I do. No matter what I say. You should still be there!!"

So I was and still am.

i've been looking for info on the Moon conjunct DC in a COMPOSITE chart for a year now. i can't find anything about it on the internet, though i did read a very brief thing somewhere that it gives an emotional streak to the relationship.

does anyone have more insight into this aspect? "emotional streak" sounds rather negative to me...

Who do you think would feel the effect more strongly with this aspect, the Moon person or the DC owner?

Well, a sun DC or in 7th would usually mean that the DC or 7th house owner feels more. Sometimes, sun native does not return the same kind of feelings or affection.

Now with moon i'm not so sure, probably the DC or 7th house native feels more, as this is always the rule with descendant connections. However since moon is involved, i would say the moon person feels the intensity of the connection as well.

funny my experience has been the opposite, i feel more when it's my sun on another's dsc and feel close to nothing when its their moon on my dsc. this has to depend a lot on the natal.

Yeah i agree, natals are always the first thing we should consider looking at. People with very different natals, can have this aspect, but probably it wont be felt so much.

In that case who would be more intuitive about the other's feelings and thoughts? The Moon or the DC person?

Would the influence of the Moon conjunct the DC feel intrusive in some way, kind of like the DC person is unwillingly exposed no matter what?

hey ruben, just my experience, but when their moon is conj my dsc it's funny how you put it because now that I remember there was a feeling that they could see through me, i was surprised at how much they could intuit.

Ruben,

it seems that the moon person would be more intuitive about the descendant person's feelings and emotions...

how about this one... I was looking at the synastry chart between myself and my boyfriend and it shows that my destinn conjuncts his DC exactly... what significance does this have if any? I also have my N. Node in the same spot conjunct his DC as well... how does this play out? Does anybody know how to interpret these? I looked everywhere and couldn't find anything. ... much appreciated!

Quite true about the sun in IC synastry, my current beau has his sag sun and venus in my IC, and he's made a point in front of everyone to me that I should only be defending him. Though, he has told me many private matters and has requested me not to say much in front of others. He's also made an emphasis that his longest relationships in the past was mainly because his exes has a close bond to their family. Prior to him asking me out seven years (and me saying no at that time, long story), he was engaged and he tends to give me details that he normally hates telling others because he find his other roommates or friends more judgemental than me.

His pisces moon is also in my Vertex and DSC. I find it rather cute that he pouts to me anytime people take the mickey out of him or if I simply say no to his requests. lol, Eventually I tend to give in to his pouting (most of the time). I even say to him, "Stop pouting! I know you're pouting over this phone call'! He denies it at first, then he says, "Yeah, I am pouting. You win this time".
