Would anyone be able to look at my composite and synastry charts with this person and be able to tell me if there is a reason behind this intense obsession and longing? This has been going on for 2 years now. We were friends for the longest time but one of us always had a significant other, and eventually he started ignoring me all together after he got with his last girlfriend. I feel like he just gave up on trying, and thats understandable. I am just curious if there is some type of karmic connection here because it was obvious we had an intense connection.

I feel that we have karmic ties because there was a special connection that we had that meant more to me than romance. It felt transcending. We expanded eachother in many ways and healed eachother significantly. We would talk about our deepest secrets and worries, and give eachother advice. (even when he moved miles and miles away he would call me if he was in trouble, lovingly saying "I need your expert advice") He was very special to me, and so sometimes I feel sad knowing that we dont talk anymore. I feel like he feels the same way too, but wouldnt communicate that to me because he is quite secretive and he has boundaries because of his relationship. I dont ask of course because I am secretive myself and I want to respect him. He would always express great great admiration for me though, so I know that we had a connection. (and he would always say things like "I was talking about you the other day.." I dont know. Maybe its just my crazy pluto in the 7th talking. If you can find any significant aspects pointing to great attachment/obsession/karmic ties I would greatly appreciate it. I am positive there is something there that keeps him popping up in my mind obsessively. Also, is it more felt on my side, or does he feel this great attachment too?

I appreciate your input and your time. While I see Moon Square Pluto and Mars Square Venus causing intensity, I actually have Moon square Pluto natally, and so most people born around the same year as me have this aspect with me. Thus, I dont really see it as a defining aspect of our synastry.

I can see Mars square Venus causing intensity, but I feel that there is more that causes this feeling to be so heavy rather than two very common aspects that I have with most other people around my same birth year. Not everyone who comes around whos venus squares my mars gives me these feelings, and so I know there must be more.

This aspect (Moon Pluto) gives you a predilection for emotional fascination when attracted to someone, it doesn't explain everything about your attraction for this guy, but it is one of the factors. Someone sitting on your Moon Pluto Jupiter fixed cross activates this aspect. Venus/Mars square is intensely felt by Mars as raw physical attraction, a compelling need to touch the other person, it intensifies aggression as well. The rest of your synastry is mostly friendships oriented. But friendship coupled with these two hot aspects can definitely evolve into something more although, as I was saying, the synastry doesn't bode well for long-term romance. I think you may be more attracted than he is, at least for the physical part.
