I had the square in composite and sextile in synastry with an ex. It was a very volatile relationship and it was more of my own desires overwhelming the relationship and him not giving in because of Saturn action. But when he did it was really sexually intense but it could inspire guilt in me for some reason... I'm really weird that way. I think that particular relationship just made me feel bad since I knew I should not have been in it. So yeah, it was rawly a physical need overwhelming us both and it caused a lot of tension. Unless you have more positive aspects like Sun-Moon, Moon-Venus, Venus-Mercury, and Mars-Venus, you might find it can be really overwhelming like that. If either of you are highly Plutonian in the natal it'll be easier to manage. Make sure the union doesn't become centered on sex only.

Since it's also within a degree of my Sun, and exactly opposite his Moon, there's quite the configuration going on there.

His Mars falls in my 2H, which I take to be somewhat possessive. His Moon is in my 8H, too, just in case it wasn't complicated enough.

I found someone's comment regarding 'unless Saturn is involved' interesting. I can't quite decide if it is or not. Our Saturns are opposite - but to such a wide degree (9º) and not linked to anything, it seems superfluous. (Though, I will add that his Saturn is also in my 8H, and that *does* feel active. His Eros is there with it, but only in the sign; out of orb.) As such, there's no aspect from our Saturns, even though they're in the same sign - i.e., my Saturn's in Libra like his Mars and my Pluto; his Saturn's in Aries, same as his Moon and Eros. But they're early in the signs, whereas the Mars-Pluto/Sun opposite Moon-Eros is all late.

I ask because of the bizarre nature of the connexion - in that regard. Granted, we're also dealing with an abnormal psychological portrait here - but still. It feels Saturnine in the way there's so much withholding, restriction and restraint. Especially for such an explosive combination.

Sometimes, I think maybe it's Saturn. But then I tell myself - y'know, that's probably just him.

The general complexity would be what I can only describe as floodgate-outbursts of extreme physical passion after long periods of total restraint. Sometimes even disregard would follow - not maliciously so, just total disconnection for a short period. Rinse, repeat.

I could never keep track of it. Or figure out what the hell was going on. Heh.

Just a quick add-on: he's 13 years my senior, so I'm counting Pluto; normally, I wouldn't.

His Mars conjuncts my Pluto in Libra and my Mars in Leo sextiles Pluto in Libra.

The sex was incredible. He was also my first boyfriend and sexual partner. Unfortunately, due to other aspects, he was also abusive.

We also had some other Pluto aspects with one another. When I left him, I felt like I was literally ripping myself from his body. It was very difficult to leave him even though it was certainly the right thing to do. I think if I ever had the nerve to talk to him again, he would say the same. He could not completely get over me because he kind of stalked me over a number of years.
