Hello! First post here, been lurking a bit and this seems like a fine place to start. Im still learning about Astrology, and Synastry, big time, mostly though personal application and lots of reading up on what I find. So...My natal with another's: Anything interesting jump out? What's your overall impression? Other things of note were: His Valentine conj my Asc by 3, mine opp his chiron by 4. I understand it's generally accepted to stick to 2 or under for synastry, but that seemed noteworthy! Also his Isis conjunct my 9th house cusp, exact. Not sure if thats relevant. I added Angel because that's my name (Im on outside) Any thing else I should add? Lemme know! And a humble thank you in advance.

The alignment of your angles is very powerful. Also Sun/Venus conjunct DESC, Venus conjunct NN, Venus conjunct Pluto, Venus opposite Vertex, are all showing that you may have a very deep and significant connection here! The Venus/Node DW is just beautiful too! It's known as creating the feeling that this person is the life of your life. I've experienced this aspect twice with two different men, and in both cases it felt as though they were the loves of my life. Two very different kinds of connections though, but ones filled with many lessons, trials and tribulations, but in the end they both made me realize my capacity for love and how deep and all encompassing it can be. You just can't limit it and try to fit it into a certain box and put a bow on it, saying "this is the way love is supposed to be". With both experiences it was a wake up call for me and a deconstruction and REconstruction of my beliefs on love/relationships. As a result, what remained was unconditional love. It goes deeper than just romance/infatuation/sexual attraction, etc. One of the main lessons of this aspect I'd say would be unconditional love, to love the other no matter what. Because once you master that, THEN you feel as though things are moving forward somehow, that you are achieving a very grand soul lesson. Cherish it. You have something very beautiful on your hands. EDIT: just looked at the clock and its 11:11 here LOL. IP: Logged |

Your composite has conjunctions of Moon/Pluto and Venus/Saturn (5th house ruler)/Neptune (DESC ruler) in the 4th house. Looks pretty deep and solid to me. Yours could be a relationship that is very binding, intense and transformative with plenty of romance! IP: Logged |

Wow. This resonated with me very powerfully. Everything you said, particularly the bit about what love is 'supposed' to be'. HA, I see 11:11 constantly. Also 5:23, though Ive yet to understand the significance of that one. Thank you so much for your response! Cant wait to look deeper into some of these )

Gotcha. Well, it does appear your Internet correspondent is another Soulmate. Possibly of the companion variety, though it depends upon your outstanding karma. IP: Logged |

That's interesting. I had no idea there were 'kinds' of soulmates' until I found this forum. Bless it. How does one determine their outstanding karma, may I ask? edit: Im reading up on companion soulmates right now. Id thought my husband might be a gaurdian, but this sounds much, much muuuch more apt. *Everything* fits. I will have to get some reading material on this ASAP. I never imagined myself taking up such a fascination with these concepts, ha.

Oh, there's gobs. Most of our more intense, resonant, significant relationships or binding attractions are Soulmates. All of mine have been Soulmates, my Twin, and my Guardian. You're on the Understanding Karma thread already, so that's a good place to start in regards to what's outstanding or brought you together to resolve. Ahhh, the Internet. It's both simplified and complicated the hell out of everything, hasn't it?

As to Soulmates, we have varying levels and degrees of proximity, you might say. Some Soulmates are very near to our Twin, and thus will resonate powerfully with us, sharing a similar frequency. 'On the same wavelength'. Others will be 'further out' and representing complementary energies, creating intense but opposite reactions. Magnetism. They're typically in a dual role as Karmic Partner, too. A lot of spouses are Karmic Partners, I discover. Should it be on track to being a karmic reward relationship, they're likely also Companion Soulmates. 'Guardian Soul' is a term I coined, actually, to describe the bizarre and rare experience I've had which seems to be resonating with several other disenfranchised Twin Flames. Research in its infancy, but much is already coming together. I'm encouraged. IP: Logged |

After more research Ive come to the conclusion that maybe we are not meant to be together, at least not in this lifetime or foreseeable future, which I am fine with. Im a cap, I can do patient. I do believe we have some transformational work to do and may be setting the stage for a 'future', perhaps karmic, meeting, though. The message I am getting is 'not yet'. Perhaps some barrier still exists that we need to resolve. His NN/Pluto conj my Venus was my first tip off of that, and almost everything, when put into that context afterward, has made sense. I dont know what the exact nature of that future relationship will be, but I do feel it's significant. Just .. not yet.So thats a quick update re: where Ive arrived, and Im feeling pretty all right about it. Thanks for the insight, guys IP: Logged |

Would this means it's possible to feel extrreme love for the soulmates who are very near to our twin?Strong enough to get out of say a depression? Sorry to the OP for derailling the thread a bit. And thanks Auby.
