How often do you see the same moon signs in synastries that is also longterm relationships?

They don't have to be conjunct, but just in the same sign.

Do you think this is a bad or good match and why?

Good question. I don't truly have an answer.

I've seen plenty of synastries of couples with relationships of varying duration with the same MOON sign. So, that's tough to say.

I haven't seen it very often. I've had this with someone, though. Both Sag moons. We really seemed to have similar outlook on life and similar desires in life..but other differences were too much to handle. It felt more like best-friends than romantic/sexual.

I imagine it's generally a good thing to share with someone because your moon is so important. It says loads about you, usually more accurately than your sun, so to understand each other on a deep, emotional level is really good. It would benefit any type of relationship. That understanding is so important. I don't think it's a tell-tale sign of romance and wonderful times, though.

I can't imagine it's rare.

I share my Capricorn Moon sign with my girlfriend.

But unfortunately for her she has it on the 29th degree which is really tough on her.

I like it. It gives a very good understanding of how each person processes their emotions. Though I feel her Cap Moon carries some Aqua Moon attributes being on the last degree.

one of the most comprehensive synastry studies (still) was done in the 70s, with over 14,800 pairs. the Moon-Moon conjunction was the 5th most common synastry aspect among marrieds. it's not rare. of all the signs in my chart i'd want someone with a conjunct moon more than any other aspect, i think it'd be emotionally comforting and i'd like it.

Do you know where we could find that study online?

I don't think it's that rare. I did have the conjunction with my ex (in Capricorn) and it's a nice aspect. But it's really more like being close friends - than anything else.
You would need other aspects to make it romantic.

I second that!

I'd love to see this survey.
