So, I am the pluto person. They are the sun person. I have no idea what this means for the other person. We work together and I really enjoy their brainpower but sometimes I feel as though I can be a little overbearing. Interpretations say that Sun is intrigued with Pluto AND repulsed at the same time. Pluto is obsessive. How long does this attraction last? Through the whole relationship or just at first? And who is feeling what? IP: Logged |

I just realize I have it in synastry. Sun square pluto. It's interesting, I don't really feel it as a Sun. HA HA HA.. what's wrong with me?  I don't help you much on this, but the pluto seems more fascinated by the sun. IP: Logged |

Yeah.. I have sun square pluto DW with my close friend. I have read somewhere and this quote "I dont want you but I cant stand to see you with someone else" prob may apply. LOL.I have sun square pluto with my ex and current bf and always be as the sun, I don't really realize the energy much, but love/hate feelings occurred within the relationship. I have learnt to give in if pluto is too strong. Power struggle.  IP: Logged |

I have it with my boyfriend, I am the Sun, it doesn't feel like a square to me. *shrug* But it is 4º. My life has changed quite a bit since meeting him, and sometimes I do sacrifice my well-being to accommodate his lifestyle, but it's worth it. He realizes this and makes an effort to make up the difference

I don't know much about orbs. I know that my coworker and I are about .03 or so. I think that's pretty tight? what I've noticedo is that we are sort of intense sometimes but she's often said I've taught her a lit just about her career, her views on family and how to choose paths for work. Even though I'm hard I try not to be harush with her. It's not about power issues because really if she succeeds then I know she be sure to let others know that I'm good to work with. And honestly, I like that. I like watching her grow and transform. IP: Logged |

The closer the orb the more intense it will be, mine is an opposition not a square and it's at zero degrees and for me I don't like it. I'm the sun person and I hate the fact that I can't get this person out of my mind. The fact that you like watching this person grow and transform is how I think this aspect is supposed to play out positively, but all you ever really read about is the negative effects this aspect has. Edit: To answer the second part of your question, I believe after awhile the planet person's interest does start to wane and when Pluto senses this they begin to cling. I appreciate you mentioning the waning part because I've been trying to get my pluto tendencies under control. I'm happy for this forum though because now that I know about the interest waning, I can keep myself in check. And just accept that energies fluctuate and people come and go. I think that's the lesson of pluto, even just in my natal aspect. I think it's going to suck though when it happens. I think we both enjoy working together at the moment. IP: Logged |

I'm told that the Pluto person is better at hiding their "obsessiveness" better than the planet person. I know for me I often wonder if this person is just as obsessed with me as I am him. But I will say having been Pluto before but with other aspects the obsession doesn't begin (for me anyway) until the planet person is no longer in my life. It's good you want to get a handle on this though and using your "power" for good not evil  IP: Logged |

To be quite honest, I think you telling me that as the Sun person, you can't get the pluto out of your head is quite funny. Because my coworker is quite professional with me and acts like she can't be bothered at all with me, aside from work. And I do feel some obsessive tendencies, but I've always tried to keep it in check because it's caused problems for me in past relationships both personal/professional. I just want things to be different for myself. Not to sound so self centered, but my pluto has been a tough lesson. But the sun person is obsessed huh? That's great. LOL! IP: Logged |

I think, "I dont want you but I cant stand to see you with someone else" will only intensify with DW (Double Whammy). It's not really a matter to me if I'm in a friendship, but if I'm in a relationship the tendency will come and go, especially with the Sun I think. Sometimes if I love him, I can't stand to see him with someone else. If I hate him, I'll let go of him. lol. The explanation by @Selenite and @babybull82 is quite true. I have met this pluto square my sun because I have sun square pluto nataly, so maybe it creates the attraction. (?) I much aware with pluto aspect in mine (the emotional depths and strength of feelings), I always try to take care of the pluto aspect positively. I try to "give in" because I've learnt to understand the pluto tendency in relationship. IP: Logged |

I didn't mean to sound like a jerk. I hope you learn the lesson that pluto is trying to teach you and you do it as peacefully as possible. As the pluto in a sun square pluto in synastry it's tough. I do hide my obsessiveNess a lot but it's mostly because I don't want to scare the sun away. it's part wanting to see Sun grow and develop and part just thinking she isn't meeting her potential. Ito like watching someone only exist from the neck up. I want this Sun to have a greater depth in all aspects of their life. IP: Logged |
