Hey guys, I was just wondering how you felt about the different composite charts. On Astro.com, you can add a reference place for the composite chart, but you don't have to -- you can just do a plain midpoint one, too. Here's the difference:

This is with the reference place:

And this is midpoints only:

As you can see ... it kicks Pluto over into the 7th house, and Neptune and the MC end up in the 9th house as opposed to the 10th house. The angles are also rather less potent, though interestingly the Vertex is still tightly conjunct the Descendant.

Why am I asking this? I guess because my man's tight Mars/Venus conjunction is at 0 degrees Aries, tightly conjunct our composite Ascendant (with the reference place) which would definitely mean something different if we relied on midpoints only. What are your thoughts?

You might want to use placidus rather than whole house chart.

I don't use whole houses, as you can see it's clearly labeled. I use equal houses. I also don't agree with Placidus.
