Sometimes my post are about subtle and insightful things I notice and sometimes I just point out the obvious. Either way I share what I learn. Today it is an obvious one. Went on a few dates with a Pisces Ascendant and after awhile I ran the synastry. I couldn't figure out why the hell she was attracted. And then duh, it hit me, house overlays. I've rarely been the planet on heavy house overlays so I generally just check Mars-Venus contacts, and the usual planetary suspects. But it gets a little more obvious here. I realized, by way of my planet positions, I'll always attract specific Rising people - Pisces being among them. It just so happens that by the way my planets are positioned I will usually tend to have the Sun and Mercury in their 8th, and Venus in their 7th. It is important to note I'm working with Placidus, the unequal house system. Technically their 7th house is in Virgo, and my Venus is in Libra, but I still count it if it is still within the house even if intercepted. Same with my Scorpio placements intercepting their 8th house in Libra. Some of you will find this debatable I think. ----- So remember to note which kind of rising sign you will have your planets in their 8th, 7th, and 5th house overlays because these people will be attracted to you. Too often we get caught up on our own DSC and what we're attracted to but we don't note what Rising signs will be attracted to us by our planetary overlays. So for example, I'll attract Pisces rising people, like the current one, even without traditional attraction aspects because I have planets in their usual 7th and 8th. So if I ever meet a Pisces rising that has Scorpio placements - which is my 7th - then it will more likely be a great mutual attraction. Supposedly people with Sag placements will drive me hot because it is my 8th but I've no experience, at least in awareness, with Sag placements. IP: Logged |

In my case, they're Leo Rising people.
My Sun-Mars conjunction fall on their 7H;
Venus and Saturn fall on the 8H;
Moon and Jupiter on the 5H.(This is IF their rising is not too early and the houses not so uneven). Scorpio is my DSC too.
I guess a Leo Rising with Scorpio and Sag placements would def warm my heart. IP: Logged |

Aries rising puts my Leo Pluto-Saturn-Mars in her 5H, Libra Neptune + Pars in 7H, Scorpio Psych-Amor in 8H. IP: Logged |

I have Leo rising and most people in my life have either Scorpio or Libra rising, or Leo rising as well.

Partner is Scorpio rising, (conj. my Venus), last love was Scorpio rising. Both Caps with their angles aligned with mine.. Don't know the TOB of my first 'love.' The few Aqua rising flings I've had conjuncted my DC and they all ended up violent / aggressive with me.

I'm a Sagittarius rising and I typically attract people with Leo/ late Cancer placements. (Moon/Mars)My mom/brother/sister and cousin all have Leo for their rising sign. However, most of my planets fall into their 9th house. IP: Logged |
