I am going through a huge transitional period right now. I left my career last year, took time off to re-group myself to focus on self work, get myself healthy from exhaustion and being sick. Now its a brand new year, and I am starting to be healthy once again! I am keeping positive with this slow process. It's that time though to get a job. I have been getting offers, but it is not what I am looking for.

I was wondering if anyone can help me with a chart reading, see if there is anything that stands out on my chart pertaining to this life transition and change? I appreciate it in advance! And are there any signs of hope in my chart that things are going to get up and running soon or something?

A transit chart would be best for this. I would look at the houses where transit Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, and Jupiter are moving through to get a good picture.

Congratulations on the change!

Hello Koho

Ah, ok.. i replaced above chart with my natal and transits chart.. and thanks soo much for the positive nudge!

Ok, let me give this a shot regarding the houses. I am very new beginner.. so bare with me.

Pluto transit Capricorn in 5H
Neptune transit Pisces in 7H
Uranus transit Virgo in 9H
Saturn transit Sag in 4H
Jupiter transit Leo in 12H

Are these correct and what do these mean?

And there it is - tJupiter in your 12th house.

I am close to two Leo ascendants in my daily life and they are going through great changes with Jupiter transiting through the 12th/into the 1st.

By great changes I do not mean necessarily good or easy. It is Jupiter, and Jupiter is good but it acts in accordance to the rest of your chart. But change seems to be the common denominator between all of you whether it is good or bad. And in my opinion the bad is serving an important lesson/purpose to one of those Leo Ascendants. Sorry for the use of basic words like 'good', 'bad' but it would be an essay otherwise.

Venus, a member of this forum, is also a Leo ascendant and may share with you her experience at this time.

Read up on transit Jupiter in the 12th and the 1st which will be soon enough as Jupiter's retrograde is over.

I would give you more but I have to go for the moment.

WOW!! .. this is what i found thus far on Jupiter transit on 12H. Super resonating to the tee!

**Transit Jupiter in the 12th House
When transit Jupiter is in your 12th house, you can focus on the habits that you’ve taken on over the years and finally let go of them. You can be less self-destructive during this transit, and eliminate some of the baggage that you’ve been carrying around. You’re less afraid to get in touch with your hidden issues and bring them to the surface to deal with them. This can be a great time to start therapy of some sort. You may explore your spirituality and become interested in metaphysical subjects. You could take up meditation or some sort of spiritual practice. Your compassion expands and you try to help others through volunteer work or charity. You’re okay with doing things in the background that may not be noticed right now, and find that you prefer being out of the spotlight because you do your best in private. When you need help, it’s there, and this transit usually protects you during difficult times.

** This is what it says on Jupiter transit 1H
Which made me feel excited and my heart smiled with hope! It looks like my Jupiter on 12H transit is going to be over soon because its on 13 degrees going to 1H

Transit Jupiter in the 1st House
When transit Jupiter is in your 1st house, you feel optimistic about your life. You become more confident and feel good about the way things are going. This can lead to you making improvements in your life because you feel so good or want to feel better. You could be presented with new opportunities that will expand your life in some way. You may want to expand your life and experience more, seeing what the world has to offer you. You’re more friendly and gregarious, outspoken and blunt, and have a more happy attitude. You can do what you want and be who you are, and you don’t feel chained down. You do need to watch for being overly indulgent or lazy. This aspect can also lead to weight gain, though if you actually put in effort to lose weight, this aspect will make it easier. It’s just getting up and actually doing it that could be difficult.

**Thank You Koho, I appreciate your guidance and insight..

Happy to help!

I find the synthesis of all my Outer transit to reflect my life well. The next step for you is to do that.

Read all the Outer house transits and the next one coming for that house. Account for current and coming aspects.

Write these observations in a journal and short essay and you'll have a great idea of what you're feeling.

Also -

I think Randall moving this to the general astrology forum would get you more replies.

People tend to focus on synastry here and this is kinda becoming a short lesson on how to track your transits.

Thanks Koho, I appreciate your replies.

Yeah, would like to hear other people's insights as well...I am not sure where the General Astrology forum is? Is it the second one on main page?

I will read up on the transits for the next house just like what i did above... thanks

Hi Blueskies88. Hi Koho

Bluesskies88 I like your name.

I'm a Leo Asc, and at first I thought that with my Pluto transits maybe I couldn't identify Jupiter transiting through my 12th house. tJupiter is currently conjunct nJupiter/nMerc/Asc. tJupiter started transiting through my 12th house last year. If I search where tJupiter was a year ago today, it's funny because it had finished transiting through my 11th house was exactly conjunct my 12 house cusp. Today, it is conjunct my 1st house cusp exactly, and conjunct nJupiter and nMercury. This has been a significant transit. And change is the operative word. Comparing myself a year ago to myself today, I would say I have come undone. It's not a bad thing. It has been a necessary tearing down of things that weren't/aren't helping me to progress.

7-8 years ago I went through a difficult time in my life. Coming out of that period, about 5 years ago, I began to move forward, but I put up protective walls around me. It is now clear that those walls have served their purpose, and this Jupiter transit through 12 has been about taking down what is no longer serving me, so that new gifts and talents can develop and flourish. It is everything you have described above for the 12th house Jupiter transit. I think I will definitely have more to add a year or so from now, after having gained some distance from the experience, and having had time to think about it. Keeping a journal is a good idea.

My natal 12th house Jupiter conjunct Ascendant has shown me the blessings Jupiter in the 1st and 12th houses has to offer. tJupiter; however, even when going direct, does not actually have that same jovial and uplifting feeling nJupiter usually brings me. tPluto is touching me everywhere. It even semisextiles my Leo Ascendant/Merc/Jup conjunction (which is conjunct tJupiter), exactly at 0.00 degrees. tPluto is deepening the lessons of tJupiter as it moves through my 12th and 1st houses.

Not to be confusing, but I like to look up transits using both my Asc and Moon signs as my first house. This one is for my Moon. It makes my moon sign, Taurus, my first house, and Leo my 4th. This interpretation is a little more sober than the 1st house Jupiter transit, and with tPluto touching every one of my planets, it more accurately implies that some lessons have been learned, and it is time to move forward.

Jupiter rules over your eighth and eleventh house. Now that Jupiter is going direct, any irregularities in your finances will most likely get resolved. Your quest for the knowledge of the unknown will propel you in the right direction

http://www.astrospeak.com/slide-show/jupiter-goes-direct-on-8th- april-2015-how-will-it-affect-your-life/taurus

Best of luck to you Blueskies88. I hope this thread gets moved for you. There are some other Leo Ascendants that can comment too.

Hello Venus! Thank you for your insights and reply. It's very refreshing to hear from someone who has and is going through the same transitions as I am. It's good to have some 'silver lining' to look forward to!

Also, this is from the Human Design thread, you and I have the same thing going as well -- being Projectors, so you understand this whole 'Wait to be invited' process, when it comes to the job thingy...

Thanks again, and I will certainly write more on my journal.

Koho and Venus,

does the transits move counterclockwise? if so, that would mean my jupiter transit on 12H is going up towards 11H instead of 1H?

i noticed that the degrees went up to 14 degrees today. it was on 13 degrees last week... here's my transit chart again.. thanks

As it gets higher in the degrees it will be closer to your 1st house. I can see where your confusion. Just understand it is going counterclockwise toward your 1st house as the degrees get higher.

What have you learned about the outer transits so far?

Koho,

Why do we look for the house before if it's moving counterclockwise?

So if this is the case, my tPluto in 5H would translate this:

**Transit Pluto in the 5th House
When transit Pluto is in your 5th house, you take love much more seriously, and can almost become obsessed when you think you’re in love. You’re more passionate and intense, and can take that too far if you let it. You can transform your love relationships, or be transformed through them. You can become more connected to your hobbies, and want to pursue what you enjoy more than anything else, but you may have a hard time letting loose when you have the chance.

So would I be looking forward to the 4H after the 5H? If so, this is what it says:

**Transit Pluto in the 4th House
When transit Pluto is in your 4th house, you can make changes to your home through moving or making renovations. Even if you don’t want to fix anything up in a house, you’ll likely encounter issues that force you to make changes. You can also experience issues with your family. If you have anything that’s been building up between you and other family members, it can come bursting out now. You can transform the relationship you have with your family.

I'll post the rest if this is correct

This is one of those things that is better to explain in person.

But the chart moves from the 1st to the 12th

But your confusion is this -

In the 12th house to the 1st house the 1st degree is on the top half of the house and the 30th degree is on the bottom half.

In the other bit of the circle, like the 5th house, the 1st degree is on the bottom bit with the 30th on the top bit.

So when you're looking at Jupiter transiting the 12th house you're seeing the degree number get higher but heading down to the 1st.

But in the 5th you would see, let's say Jupiter, the degree number get high but heading up to the 6th.

But it is all counterclockwise. Your confusion is just the number of the degree heading up or down depending whether or not the planet is heading to the bottom half or top half of the circle.

I hope that clears it up! If I made it more confusing or perhaps I'm wrong myself excuse me on it. I just got back from the gym and gotta get to bed. Hopefully I can refine the explanation better tomorrow

edit: So Pluto is heading up to your 6th house as the degree gets higher

Jupiter is heading down to your 1st house as the degree gets higher

double edit: note that Pluto is Retrograde so it is going in reverse so for now it is heading back to the 4th and getting lower in the degree. Sorry for this because it adds more confusion!

Oh dear, it's more complex than i thought! ... so for my tPluto in 5H, shall I look at the 6H then instead of 4H?

:/

EDIT: Ok, got your last edit there!

So this is what i got thus far when doing a reading on my chart:

tJupiter - it goes from 12H to 1H
tPluto - it goes from 5H to 6H

what about tSaturn in 4H, tNeptune in 7H and tUranus in 9H ? How should i read the houses? Backwards or forwards?

I edited my previous post.

It's honestly not complicated but it is difficult to explain over the computer. If we were in person you'd have it in 2 seconds.

It could me my communication skills failing too! Hopefully someone can chime in that sees a better way in explaining it.

Night!

Gonna read more about transits and houses, look at my chart more.. hopefully by tomorrow, i will have a sense of how this works!

Ok Koho, thank you for helping me out.. have a good night!!

hey there. Another way to think of it, if you're still wondering is; your chart is stationary- standing still. The transiting planets are marching around your chart in a counter clock-wise direction. The degrees of the signs in your chart also go from 0-30 in a counter clock-wise direction.

Ok, i had the same rotating visual..however, i am having problems interpreting which houses to look after when the transit finishes? (Not sure if i am saying this correctly? )

Do you think you are able to give me a sample reading, or anyone?

I'm sorry Blueskies88. I am the last person you want reading your chart. I am still experimenting on myself, and saying things like, "Pluto is opposite my Sun. Now it's not opposing my Sun. Now it is" LOL.

I don't know if I understood your question. Correct me if I misunderstood. Are you asking which house to look at when a transit is over? Well really transits don't end, do they? Not until we die, right? tJupiter is moving "down" from your 12th house into your 1st house. In your 1st house it will be in the late degrees of Leo, and then the early degrees of Virgo, but still in your 1st house, until it moves into your 2nd house. As tJupiter moves along your chart it will be in a house, and also contacting or aspecting your natal planets. As tJupiter moves through your 1st house it will oppose Mars (on the opposite side), square Uranus (maybe it is already), oppose your Sun, maybe sextile your Pluto and Moon (pretty sure). It's probably making some trines right now. Later as it moves "down" your 1st house, it will conjunct Saturn and then your North Node.

You have a tPluto-nVenus conjunction. That's pretty significant.

I'm sure someone with more knowledge will jump in.

Hey Venus,

I understand that transits don't end. What I was trying to say was this -- when the transit ends in the current house, how would I know which house to look at after the current transit. For example -- as you mentioned tJupiter is currently at 12H. Next transit it goes down to the 1H. Koho mentioned above that my tPluto in 5H is supposed to go up to the 6H, but since Pluto is in retrograde, it is going backwards, down towards 4H.

I am lacking the knowledge how to interpret which houses to look at AFTER the current transit. Should it go Up OR Down .. or Backwards OR Forwards.

Nevertheless, I read up on this the other day (Transits, Houses, Planets) .. Its super overwhelming atm. I will have to let this digest and get back on this some other time. Will continue to observe other people's readings/posts here for now.

Thank you for your help though!

I'm sure there's an easier way, but when I want to see when a planet will enter the next sign or house, I change the date 6-12 months out. Pluto takes about 248 years to go full circle, so it takes a long time to move from one house and sign to the next, especially with retrogrades.

I understand your question now, and I don't have an answer for when you read the next transit. I push the transits along on my chart by changing the date. I haven't evolved much

I read about the tPluto transit conj. my natal Venus..so would this mean I have to deal with ALL THIS for the next 28 YEARS?!

To make light of this, I have worked on, and dealt with all this stuff for a good 3-5 years portion give or take! So 23 more years to go.. Wohooo!
