Please tell me if you can see why I have adult adhd.
Is it anything to do with my unaspected Sun? Any views on how that will play out.?

I wouldn't dare speculating on why you have ADHD but...actually I was expecting for an unaspected Mercury to do that and not the Sun.
You do have the moon in an air sign afflicted. You're Gemini heavy (like me) :-D
Your Mars is in fall in Cancer, which can harm you're persistence to pursue any course of action consistently and adds moodiness.

There's lots of stuff in any chart, but you should really focus on developing the gifts of that Gemini stellium in the 10th :-))

Ok now I see your chart is up there.

So I work with a lot of ADHD kids for my job, and I was surprised to notice a good percentage of them have a hard uranus-mars aspect which you have here, as well as a mars-neptune opposition which also lends to a kind of spacey energy.

Also moon square to uranus and to your mars

It looks to me like Mercury in Gemini quincunx Uranus. I'm not sure if Mercury being retrograde ties in or not. Uranus certainly speeds up the mental processes which in Gemini are quick anyway and heightens the short attention span.

Wow, thank you so much. I will look into these aspects mentioned. It does make it difficult getting a routine or keeping the house spotless is next to impossible .. but insituations at work doing care in the community, my quick mind comes in handy. Any comments on my birth chart would be really appreciated, as I'm finding this more therapeutic than Any therapy I have been to x

Gemini placements have the potential to do that, esp a gemini Mercury. Esp when it is conjunct Jupiter, not tightly conjunct but still it's close enough to expand the racing thoughts and the inability to maintain only 1 line of thinking at a time, gemini is the sign of the twins so multiple thoughts, at one time, that do not flow together is pretty typical for the gemini energy.
I have a gemini Mars trine Uranus, I have issues with racing thoughts and have been told I have ADD....
The Uranus in this chart is tightly inconjunct Mercury, giving way to an instability/genuis in the thinking process. The inconjunct is somewhat like an opposition, in that it's not an easy flow, instead it's disruptive and causes stress you need to find a way to balance, although it's not as harsh as the opposition.

Also look for planets conjunct fixed stars, GA, GC, SGC

These may not be exact but your....
Mercury/Venus on Alderban
Sun on Algol
Mars on Sirius

My son has ADHD severe, also a mild form of autism...very odd and hard to deal with combo, esp with a near genius iQ, poor lil guy!! It's kind of rare so it took forever to get a diagnosis for it. He's 10 now and they just recently figured it out.

He has mercury saggy@26, Pluto saggy@22....they make no other aspects in his chart. What a tough placement for my lil guy.
His Saturn is also unaspected and exactly inconjunct his Mercury....
Weird I just realized his Saturn cancer@26 and AC taurus@26 make an exact Yod with his Mercury saggy@26, the focal point is mercury.

His Sun is on Anteros, Moon on Sirius, Merc on GC, Uranus on Fomalhaut, AC on Algol.....pretty sure he's a cosmic wandered which is why he has such huge difficulties functioning as a human, probably hasn't been here before.

Oooh I'm gonna piggyback on your topic.

I'm a lady that's been recently diagnosed, and looking at my chart, I have a no duhhhh reaction to my symptoms. My chart is probably a poster child for ADHD.

I have a mars/uranus square, but what is most significant to me is my six squares in mercury as well as it aspecting into various T-squares. Then my mercury also happens to be in Libra, which forcefully changes my Earth sign heavy chart into projecting as an Air one.

I am, for the lack of better phrasing, a quirky airhead.

For some reason your picture doesn't load for me, so I can't do any comparison. =/

Thanks for the replies. I think my chart being very air dominant especially my moon in Libra and heavy Gemini might be to blame! Hehe x

Pls don't quote my story -
If others question theirs/kids charts, I'm chiming in.

I can strongly agree with this.
When I began to take college classes, I had many learning issues creep up that in my younger years were swept away by all authorities within the the edu. syst. There was a top field psychiatrist who was treating my friend (I was 23+) with ADHD, whom I thought I was a lot alike. Especially rapid speech. Rapid mind etc.
She has Adult ADHD. I got on a list to see this doctor and he told me (forgive me if I shared my story before now, I am uncertain) I was certain to have it. He diagnosed me with ADHD then.
He had me as a patient awhile - I moved on after there was a move from there.

Looking at my chart I have the Uranus opposed Mars between 10th and 4th.

(the Doc) He told me I was best to NOT be in personal relationships, due to my capabilities vs possibility. I hadn't known my IQ was not as small a value, yet it was a surprise. However in life, many areas I've felt as an utter failure. Not to drone on but in the past decade someone I had met with Asperger's tried telling me ADHD doesn't exist - I think he wanted me to believe I was like him. Yet imo I fit ADHD far moreso than other dz I read up on.
I've been researching the charts of those with this, as well other issues. This is the only one that fits my chart. Plus the 3rd house Moon (Aqua). I do have neurologic issues - since infancy I believe. Premature birth.

I can concentrate on areas I enjoy learning, for lengthy periods of time. Some may see it as obsessed energy. I feel it can be but there's some subjects I dip my toes into, many would never see interest in. To the degree I do anyhow!

When I worked at a research facility I geeked out in medical journals. I could absorb some material that even surprised myself. Mind you I was nineteen-ish and my peers who weren't in college (as then I wasn't), had no interest in anything in that level for reading. My interest in subjects in my teens was vastly different than my peers.

As a child in school, I had bullies bring me to anxiety. I tried to keep my attention on studies but couldn't bare the shame to be heard. Raising my hand was scarey. The chalkboard was hard to read. My eyes weren't ever properly examined.
My fear of getting attention ruined my scholastic success. I had a mild case of dyslexia. I can scramble words when reading quickly - even now. I'll read differently, yet not backwards - rather inside out. My math/algebra was dyslexic in the formation on my paper, I would write it as if looking in a mirror.

- Maybe I'm writing too much. lol

I really wanted to share my story because I see many parents looking for assistance with charts for their young children (+babies). I was hoping to be of help in some way. My experience may be helpful -

if so, I'll be happy to answer if anyone is curious. I had to go through my experience to have simething to share. If in any case there are any parents here whom are curious of the potentials. I can say from how it seems, the world is SO much more understanding and accommodating to ADHD children and other groups. However; there may be curious minds of those of us who are different, yet have had to adapt.

Oh wow, just popped in on here to see my 6 year old thread regarding my adhd pop up! Well, it is still something i battle with daily!

There seems to be a common theme with hard aspects to Mercury, moon, Uranus and retrogrades; especially retrogrades on those planets involved.

Thank you for your comment and reviving my old thread, although I am sad to hear how you have also suffered with this ailment in your life and found school such a challenge (as I did).
I also have dyscalculia (dyslexic for numbers) and resonate with only being able to focus on things that interest me. Your job sounds really cool! I think I would love to do that job myself and it would suit my strengths on analytical thought and research.

I have recently been down a new path of discovery of what makes me tick and studying psychology and MBTI typology. To my surprise I always score the same on the numerous tests I have taken, which is an INTP, a very rare personality type for women making up 2% of the population. It seems quite fitting to the things that make me adhd also.. I wonder if you are the same as me here.

I couldn’t quite believe it to be true at first and it has been a real eye opener for me, although I have been studying astrology for years and analysing my birth chart to better understand myself, I’ve come to realise i have most likely been in the wrong career all my life. (Working in social care and health care)

I have two daughters, one who I suspect may have adhd also.. it’s tough, but trying to understand yourself is helpful in building self esteem and being kind to yourself for your downfalls.

Please do post your birth chart if you would like me to have a look.

Thanks
Lisa
