hi,

our relationship is too new to say something but our moon looks unaspected to me. what would you say on that moon/mars quincunx ? also we have saturn in our 5th house and venus makes only one aspect and it's a square. what would you say about this composite when you look at it at first?

Thank you

They do count, especially a quincunx, not exactly a minor aspect, however unaspected personal planets and unaspected in general do pose some challenges.

The quincunx is not really minor imo

Check to see how the composite placements affect each person's natal placements, as well.

For instance, if that barely-aspected Moon at 3° Sagittarius makes an aspect to a planet or angle in your chart, and/or their chart, that's significant - it will mean that the relationship and the emotional overtones in it are important to the person whose placements are touched.

Same goes for the composite ASC, Sun, etc.

The composite Venus has a wide square to Jupiter, which isn't great, but it doesn't have to be catastrophic or unmanageable.

However I'd say you should make a conscious effort to bond with your partner emotionally and not just physically or mentally.

thank you Doux Rêve!

i checked them out. we both have some venus contacts but for moon it doesn't look good. only he has a moon-jupiter aspect. i have none. we already have quincunx moon signs (virgo and aquarius). it's 7 degree, i guess too wide but still...

So I take it the chart you've displayed is a composite chart. If the relationship is new, a composite chart doesn't really describe it. Look at synastry instead. I only use composite charts are for people whose lives are merged and living together (or occasionally for clarifying any issues that remain unclear in synastry).

Yes, minor aspects do come into play, but Moon quincunx Mars is not a minor aspect. I always include quincunxes as I consider them major aspects. Moon quincunx Mars would count as a negative/stressful aspect, but not fatal to a domestic arrangement by any means. That is the main concern with Moon-related aspects in synastry or composites. It probably only comes into play here and there when some unexpected events arrive that relate to differing moods.

Here is why you want to fully verify your individual charts first: supposed Asc 10 Leo square Pluto 12 Scorpio and Mars 5 Taurus = not good (conflict, power struggles, etc). First trigger to go back to the natals and make sure they are 100% validated first. You don't want a domestic relationship with that type of Asc aspect figure.

Thank you so much Kannon McAfee!

my TOB is 100% accurate but his might be off half an hour.i ran the charts again with different TOB's for him but i guess that aspect configuration is still there. our composite asc is between 6-13 degrees leo.
