Gah! THAT. Absolutely, undoubtedly, that. We were having a discussion regarding certain subjects in physiology as it directly impacts sexual performance and experience. When the conversation shifted into a set of terms I didn't know, he did the 'Spock's brow' thing, and said (as well-meant as he could) 'You haven't read Gray's?' As in Gray's Anatomy, the classic text. And, guilty; I had not. My focus was on psychology, whereas his formal education included medical training. I had one A&P course in high school, but it did not hold a candle to his physiological knowledge, which is second-nature.
Oh, good heavens ... I had a copy on my Kindle by the time he left that night! And, yes, I was reading it the following day!
My husband boggled at this. He's 'suggested' many things to me, he's said, (and it's true -- always in the form of 'you ought to' as well) and yet the per centage of time that I've actually acted upon them? ... Small by comparison.
My CHIRON is absolutely dominated by his stellium in late Taurus, but makes a very nice 1° trine to his PLUTO, actually. I have no idea if that's any bit of it, but I was bowled over by that part of your experience.
Even I had to admit; nobody has that particular effect upon me but him. Merely a disappointed brow-raise, and I was devoid of my pride, and eager to prove myself. Which, as a SUN-PLUTO-BML is very much not me! But if it's he who's disappointed? Oh, I will climb mountains to elevate my position in his eyes. Insanity!
His 8H MERC is also 0° conjunct my MENTOR (square my PLUTO). And while his is out of orb, it's on the tail-end of his Taurus stellium.
