I wanted to start this topic as the other threads I found on Lilith synastry are now closed and I'm still reeling after my experience. I just want to put my two cents worth in now that I've had some perspective on my experience with what I consider to be a Lilith heavy synastry.
I am now terrified of Lilith! I acted SO out of character. I could not control myself. I'm talking constant drunk calls, demanding his secrets, manipulative behaviour. A magnetic pull to be around him yet I couldn't decide if I loved or loathed him. It was a totally weird experience that I do not wish to relive. Yeah there was insane chemistry but I did not like how it manifested one bit. I constantly felt the need to have the upper hand, and when I lost a bit of power in the situation I was livid. We also met through his ex girlfriend at the workplace they both worked at while still in the process of breaking up.
Our aspects were my Lilith conjunct his moon, opposite his mars and conjunct his south node. His Lilith conjunct my sun, opposite my saturn, neptune and uranus, squaring my moon and conjunct my Chiron, part of fortune and midheaven. We have other minor Lilith aspects too. Do you think Lilith could have the potential to ever manifest positively in synastry?xx IP: Logged |

That sounds really intense. I do think she can manifest positively in synastry, and though I have no proof personally, I was recently on a thread which had compiled fantastic-celebrity-couple Lilith synastry aspects and there were often several tight aspects; I did notice a relative lack of conjunctions, and in none of them did I notice a heavy incidence of conjunctions as you describe. It may indeed just put too much emphasis on those energies for most people to handle in an at all 'healthy, sane' way..I should investigate in my other synastries, I'm just obsessed (Lilith?)) with one person right now.. My present partner's True Lilith is on my North Node and my Lilith is conjunct his Mercury. I make a lot of aspects to his Mercury as well as my own Lilith... We definitely touch on some deep stuff but it's tempered by positive loving flowing aspects, so that we don't get totally mired in it and learn from each other, and neither of us are shy about plumbing the depths, and both of us are fairly self-aware about our shadows, but still working on bringing things to light and being willing to address them... Definitelya work in process. I think Lilith can of course manifest positively in synastry; she is present in our natal charts and requires acknowledgment. We can heal Lilith wounds and embody her positive qualities through interaction... I could see how with the aspects you mentioned things could really get out of hand on an animalistic level, very heavy and unreasonable feeling. IP: Logged |

If we're talking the BML form here, (although we also have LILITH strong), one of the most powerful links I've ever known is his BML conjunct my PRIAPUS (0°) in my 8H and his 5H, in Aries.There's a primal power just beneath all of our interactions, which is deeply paradoxical, given the politesse and orderly, proper nature of our conduct. It's also opposite his MARS/LILITH conjunct my SUN-PLUTO-BML. Intense stuff. IP: Logged |

Yeah... Maybe neat categorizations of positive and negative with Lilith just don't apply, I'm thinking now... There are ways to appeal to the Lilith within one another, to soothe her, and help her express herself... It's raw and experiential, not easily neatened and structured into ethical or moral parameters, 'politesse,' as Auby said. She is beyond the borders of easily classifiable action and emotion... It's larger than life energy in a way... blinding, overwhelming, powerful.. yet I do think we can help one another, if not get a grip on, then create space around our Liliths and integrate her into our complex psyches in a healthy way, I do believe that.
