Wow. So many questions come to mind...I wonder about his angles, progressions, transits. Especially the angles.

But the impression you give, of a super powerful but selfish person, does match the striking visual impression of his chart...it's mostly self-contained.

Jupiter in Taurus might drive the selfishness to amass a material fortune, especially as it's afflicted by the Leo moon (saying me me me, at the apex of the square) and opposing Scorpio Neptune. Also the Virgo stellium's all retrograde...wow, so glad I do not have Mars-Pluto-Uranus Rx in Virgo!

The Pisces-Virgo opposition squaring his nodal axis....sheesh.

And how do you fit in?

Can you tell us more about your hunches?

Does he want to learn from you or squash you and punish you?

You didn't highlight his Mercury conjunct your moon but maybe he feels like you afford him an emotional perspective that just clicks. Also, Mercury-NN in Gemini looks like, you would be an asset to him.

Getting back to this

When we worked together, there was this weird and easy flow - we got a lot of work done together, and there's another very weird thing: our writing styles match so exactly that when be both worked on a file or a report, nobody, not even us, could tell in the end who had written what. This extended to grammar, style, choice of words, flow of textual logic, everything and was there from the beginning, it was not mimicry. I've never experienced that with anyone else and I've worked with a lot of people from all sorts of trades.

That's incredible. Do the draconic charts have any extra clues about why this might be the case?

A friend and I worked on a project and realized our writing was close to interchangeable. We have draconic sun and Mercury conjunctions.

When we actually met the other day, he seemed very nervous the entire time; this runs counter to the idea that this contact attempt is a sort of ploy or trap to "punish" me which would be a bad and silly move in any case...

I wonder if he loved you. Maybe it was just your business skills he values but if you're writing exactly like another person...one would think there is soul similarity...and that's deep.

Since that meeting I've started to wonder whether he even realizes what effect he has had on other people, me included - but probably not. Which is really very sad, one should hope for him that he can at some point find a better path.

Pisces/Neptune self-delusion can have disastrous consequences for others....even when they're positively aspected and sometimes especially when they're positively aspected. No brakes where they would be helpful. My sister has a lot of flowing water in her chart and she can be like a raging river, determined to do her own thing no matter what, and dragging everyone along with her.

Strange, from looking at that tormented chart alone I think the rest of my anger now simply dissipates. Should have done that long ago.

And it's easier not to be mad when you have a comfortable distance. Gotta love distance!
