I'm new to astrology and very clueless in trying to decipher what it all means. I've been using these two birth dates as an example for myself to learn how these two people would interact with each other:

7/28/1989 1:30 PM in Gaeta, Italy.
12/01/1976. Birth time unknown. Auckland, New Zealand.

He suddenly appeared in my life two years ago and nothing happened. He came back a few months ago and now he's always in my head, and I can't stand it because I don't understand what changed.

How can you tell if these two people will just be friends? Lovers?

What aspects play out more?

Thank you for your insight.

I have the Sun in 9th so I am going across. His house placements will probably be incorrect since I don't have his time of birth.

Anyone?

I mainly want to learn what would be considered as "friendship aspects" and what are "lover aspects". What aspects in the chart would play out more?

I'm not asking to be told if we'll get together and live happily ever after hahaha.

I'm not a pro like most of these wonderful folks here. But I can see that there's a Venus Sq mars, sexuality attraction/friction. I think this has to do a lot with timing, one is on when the other is off and it's hard to get the timing right.

Pluto trine moon, depth and intensity. But with all pluto contacts, unconscious stuff come up. With the trine it's easier to deal with though.

Moon and mars trine sun. Saturn sextile moon is good.

I can't tell anything about the houses because I'm not sure about your birth times listed up there.

Hello Cchampliss2!
I appreciate all feedback ^_^
There is definitely a lot of weird timing. Our jobs require us to travel a lot (in the field of international relations) so we don’t see each other often. The next time I see him is next month.
My birth time is accurate. I may ask him for his when I see him.

That might also have to do with uranus contacts too, so check the uranus aspects in the chart.

In synastry, my Venus sextile his Uranus, my Sun square his Uranus, his Moon square my Uranus, and his Uranus makes a conjunction to my Asc in Scorpio. My Uranus also sextile his North Node and trine his South Node and Chiron, but I don't know what effect they would have. They're all pretty close in orb, too. Nothing more than 4.

Well, now that I've read about it, I think the orbs wouldn't matter since I don't have his actual birth time.

Anyone with insight or advice?

I'm actually curious if transit Saturn going through my fifth house (well, when it goes direct again in Sagittarius) is what triggered the attraction to an older man.

Do you believe this would be more a friendship bond?

Uranus isn't very good it gives an on-off quality to the relationship. Since its positive aspects it can give the distance and lack of definition you seem to be experiencing...

Thank you, Soltze, for your insight! I appreciate it.
You nailed it with the distance factor. I’m used to distance though. I’m a military brat so I’m never physically around my loved ones (family/friends). I end up skyping or calling them to keep in touch, so I’m used to the on/off bonds. I have natal Venus and Mars trine Uranus, so maybe that’s why I’m more comfortable with it?
If Uranus generates on/off relationships, what aspects in synastry would create a boundary? Saturn and Pluto, I assume?

Thanks again!

You don't get pain from distance because it's a soft aspect.
Yes, Saturn can bind. Ideally a Double Whammy even if it's a square.
But I hope you're not like me.
My synastries are always, Saturn squaring everything and everyone. That causes uneasyness and unrequited feelings

Pluto is hot and obssessive, I'm not sure I would call him binding. Well he can bind, if it's good depends on how plutonian and
mature you are :-D

EDIT: Now I've noticed his moon is inconjunct your Venus, and your Venus makes no aspects with his chart.
This isn't good for romantic prospects...sorry

I could hug you! Thanks for your response ^_^
From what I check with Astrotheme.com and café astrology, my Saturn squares his Moon and his Saturn sextile my Moon, conjunct my Mercury and Mars. I’m guessing that will make the bond feel really dull/serious?
I’m unfortunately Plutonian -_- I get annoyed with my own energy sometimes because of how I can become. I’m still learning how to handle all the energy and be a healing person in people’s lives. (Leo sun square ASC Scorpio, Moon quincunx Pluto Scorpio, Sun square Pluto, Mercury square Pluto, Asc conjunct Pluto in Scorpio, Pluto trine Chiron, Pluto in first house)
In synastry (according to the websites, I can certainly be wrong!). His Pluto trines my Moon and sextile my Mercury. So maybe we’ll be close friends who talk a lot about personal things.
As for my Venus…. It squares his Sun and his Mars, sextile his Uranus. However, his Venus only conjuncts my Neptune at a wide orb so maybe that’s what you were looking at?
What does Moon inconjunct Venus mean?
It’s all good if it’s not romantic. I just wanted to learn what was considered “romantic aspects” vs. “best friends” aspects and the how the aspects point out themes in relationships. It feels a bit like psychology. So when Venus isn’t involved, it leads to a friendship?

Thank you again ^_^ seeing your response made my day! I'm learning something new
