Does it still count when starting a relationship? My progressed Venus is in a conjunction with his natal Sun with an orb of 1,22 degrees, but the conjunction is separating. My progressed Sun now, however, is exactly on his natal Sun, down to 2 minutes. If that helps. IP: Logged |

I usually find that there's a natal progressed conjunction of VENUS and SUN, which is then aspecting the other's natal or progressed points in synastry. My boyfriend was having a pMOON applying conjunction to my pSUN (2º), which was about 6º from my natal MOON, at the time we met. When we began our relationship, however, we were both having a progressed conjunction, but in the reverse: pSUN conjunct VENUS (1º) (applying) pVENUS conjunct SUN (1º) (applying) I think the reason why it was so indicative, however, was that my pVENUS was also applying to conjunction with his MARS (2º). That's a very, very nice conjunction, indeed! And, unsurprising, the conjunctions became exact about a month off of each other's; his first, then mine. Do you have any natal-to-progressed activity in your charts that's further emphasised in progressed-to-natal synastry? IP: Logged |

Well, that p.Venus of mine is applying to a conjunction to his p.Mars as well, but quite wide yet - 3 and a half degrees so that might come into play just later if our relationship goes on. IP: Logged |

Ohhhh, congratulations! I've no idea if there's a kind of 'ignition switch' due to the natal SUN involvement, or if it works quite the same with pMARS (as it does with MARS) but, if it's anything similar, I've got to say you're in for a lovely few years. I especially love how it ties into my natal PLUTO, giving this extra edge to it all. Of course, that means my pPLUTO has been slowly moving along with my pVENUS, as it moves to conjunct his MARS. Rather amazing stuff. And our sexual relationship is deeply transformative, and the stuff of powerful, primal psychological depth. I suppose it can get a bit too heavy sometimes, and we get lost in 'how to do this', but when we let our instincts take over, everything clicks into place strangely smoothly. IP: Logged |

Oooh, that's great! It feels like a temporary natal conjunction of PLUTO to the personal point; getting to feel how 'the other half' lives, so to speak. So, if VENUS is involved, you'll find your attachment style deepening and becoming more passionate. You might experience possessiveness and jealousy; even becoming obsessive and 'all or nothing' about your relationships, or the partner that activates the conjunction. I'm guessing that his pMARS would then be coming in to be conjunct your PLUTO/pPLUTO? IP: Logged |

Yes, indeed! I really hope that this will turn out the way you described for the next few years. IP: Logged | |
