So I currently have a crush on an identical twin. I'm crazy attracted to one, but really not that into the other. I've met other women who have married an identical twin. So my question is, what could be the reason that synastry can be amazing with one and not the other? I mean, if they're twins, wouldn't they have almost the exact same natal chart? I know the ASC moves fast, but I asked a woman the other day the "age difference" between her two identical boys and she said 1 minute! Yet, she says they have different personalities. Anyone have any input on this?
Thanks

because they are different people, lol. so, the natal chart and placements are exact... but lets say (for example) one twin asked four girls out and was rejected each time and the other twin asked four girls out and was always successful in his approach. you can have a case where one twin develops a bit of shyness and the other doesn't. and then one twin will gravitate to outgoing women and the other might not. it's their life experiences that are going to make them completely different. they can be identical, but they will never have identical experiences, including work and school. so, depending upon where you meet a twin you might also have more in common with them given the location (work, gym, etc.). i dated a twin in college - his brother dropped out of college and never went back.. right there i had almost nothing to talk about with his brother and found him boring by comparison. they are individuals, not a set :-)

Thanks Starmoon, I appreciate your input. BUT I'm speaking from an astrological point of view. I understand that life and social lessons will develop each twin differently, BUT what if you put them side by side and didn't know them on a personal level?

if you just sat two identical people in a chair and started talking with them you might get along better with one than the other because they are people. you have to start interacting. it could also be voice, smell, eye movements, body language, etc. reasons beyond the chart why one is more attractive. i don't think you'd find an answer in the synastry because it'd be the same, it'd be personal/social based. as i see it :-) i think it'd be quite rare to find twins with a different asc. - they would have to be born in those few moments when the change happened.

I once did a chart here on a former member of the site and her twinsister, following Alice Portmans suggestion to use the Duad charts (I had read an article on this). Now while I am still a bit sceptical, it was at least a fascinating exercise. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/204250.html

I agree. There do tend to be differences by duad.
