I have been reviewing the synastry chart for my boyfriend and I, while researching about 5th, 7th, and 8th house rulers. If I am understanding it correctly, having a strong aspect to someone's 5th, 7th, and 8th house rulers is pretty important, because it creates attraction and provides the qualities that they are looking for.

I noticed while looking at my synastry chart, that my Sun, Moon, and Mercury stellium are conjunct with my boyfriend's Mercury. His 5th and 8th house are ruled by Mercury- so I take it as this is pretty big? Also, his 7th house is ruled by Leo, and my Leo Ascendent conjuncts with his Descendent in his 7th house. Am I interpreting this correctly? Can someone please help me understand if I am getting this completely wrong, lol? Because if all of this is accurate, I guess I would be somewhat 'ideal' for him?

Yes you are understanding correctly. Everything is correct what your saying and I do agree the impact you two have is very strong.

Holy moly, Polka; you guys must have a very concentrated composite. With SUN and MOON conjunct, and VENUS with MARS very nearby?

Ah! Thanks. It's lovely. I like the SUN conjunct MOON with JUPITER in the 11H, and that trine to JUNO. Beautiful!

While VENUS is only semisextile MARS, it's still a connexion between them. MARS/MERC makes you fierce communicators, but brings the potential for arguments if that energy gets stifled. Watch for the potential for sudden outbursts with that 8H URA. But also remember -- it's an 8H URA. Three cheers for sex, yeah?

Normally, counting the VENUS-NNODE would be dicey, given its orb width, but in karmic astrology, we comfortably expand conjunction orb to 10º. So, 6º is solid, and a 12H NNODE-VENUS is the return of a previous love relationship. Karmic soulmates. (Which isn't a bad thing.) Plus, there's that 8H URA again, this time trine the VENUS/NNODE. Remember there's almost an energy linking the 8H and 12H that can be taken for granted by that trine. You could explore Tantra to really delve to the depths of your love when intimately involved.

I'm always intrigued when the chartruler is in the 12H. There's something mystical, secretive, or merely introverted, about the relationship. That brings us back over to the 8H URA trine, which has me thinking that your intimate relationship is actually very important in terms of the way you're viewed as a couple. I'm not entirely sure why, though; but it cuts to the core of it, with URA being disposited by JUP, tightly conjunct your SUN-MOON conjunction in Pisces.

Pieces might be missing. This is when I typically expand into asteroids, to see what texture needs to be brought to the greater understanding of the synastry or composite.

Wow, thanks Aubyanne! What an amazing reading of our chart. You make it sound like it will be a wonderful relationship! I think the sun-moon conjunction with Jupiter will be really big in our relationship. He is the nicest and sweetest guy I have ever met, and I feel so cared for and accepted by him. I wonder if this is due to my Sun-Moon-Mercury conjunction with his Ceres.

I am curious- what exactly is a karmic soulmate? Does that also entail that we had a relationship in a former life? If so, how exciting!

Also, what kind of asteroids do you look at?

Isn't the composite Mars at 29° Aquarius? That would make a sextile.

I've been trying to read more about karmic soulmates, and it all sounds so depressing! Everything I have read says it will come to an end, that those relationships aren't meant to last.. Is there anything positive about karmic relationships?

You're correct, Lacey. I was glancing. At first I thought it was a 1° sextile, but then I was doing too much and my brain thought it was only 30°, and I hadn't checked the math. Thanks for clarifying that!

Well, I married a karmic soulmate. I think the trick is that you have karma that takes a lifetime to sort out. It all depends. Besides, no one knows anything. We're all just guessing, based on experience and speculation.

I'd say that when a karmic soulmate clears karma, they become companion soulmates. Most people marry soulmates, actually.

A lifetime of karma, wow! I wonder how we were in a past life

Thank you so much for your explanations. Are there any other asteroids I should put on the composite? I don't know much about asteroids..
