Hi all, Appreciate your thoughts on this synastry with a male friend of mine. We've only known each other 18 months, got together briefly at the start then split up. Now we're becoming friendly again. What are your thoughts on the sun moon aspect or the Grand Cross stopping us from quite letting go? The hard neptune scares me a bit. In case the photo doesn't paste, birth data below; Me 16 March 1978 (1.00 pm) Him 15 December 1981

I don't see any Grand Gross but:I do see a Uranus exactly conjunct to DSC which explains why the brief relationship/ fast break up. The "love stellium" over your 12th house is not good. If there is love is not well expressed and not properly accepted by YOU. You don't feel confortable with his love.
Mars conjunct NN and over your IC. Not a good thing. Very karmic but only sexual. Moon conjunct Saturn is long lasting but over your 5th house, again, the idea of being lovers scares you. You are not ready for a love relationship with this man. IP: Logged |

Thanks Rosalind. It's my planets over his 12th house so I think he's the one who probably isn't ready. Also it's my mars conjunct his north node which probably scares him. It's my saturn on his moon in his 5th so perhaps this is an unrequited love situation.. I see the uranus on descendant although his venus is also conjunct my descendant which may explain some of the attraction. I thought the below constitutes a Grand Gross but not sure; Me;
Sun 25 Pisces
Moon 23 Gemini Him;
Sun 23 Sagg
Mars 29 Virgo

There is indeed a mutable Grand Cross which makes your Sun ideal for his Sun/Moon sq; nice pattern completion. Your Venus is a bit too late for him  he likes Cap Venus, and yours leave his Mercury/Venus T/square unaspected. That is the major issues in the synastry. But many glue aspects. No worries with the 12th, it's your interception and it is ideal to have planets in interception.------------------

Rosalind, there is a mutable Grand Cross she makes with her Mars/Sun stellium T/square out of his Sun/Moon/Neptune T/square. Put on your glasses, please! Basic pattern completion. ------------------

Thanks guys, I must admit I still wasn't convinced this was a grand gross!My vertex is also conjunct his sun which I don't think I included. Yes his venus is pretty un aspected, it's conjunct my descendant not sure that's enough for him, great for me though!

He has a Sun Moon Neptune T /square which you turn into a mutable cross with your Mars. There's no dispute about this.------------------

Then it's the other way around and he's leaving your angle/Venus conjunction unaspected. The rest is not bad at all.EDIT: his Uranus 7th planet unaspected too. These are weak points in any synastry. IP: Logged |

It could work for both, if the TOBs are exact and the angle aspects can replace for direct planetary aspects. Angle/node contacts are significant for those missing aspects. You have nice pattern completion which in my experience, is the nest thing to have, the most solid construction of a synastry. The grand cross is part of this pattern completion phenomenon.------------------

Hi LeeLooLooking at this again the penny's just dropped, it's actually two T-squares we are making where we both contribute a planet, and that's what I was initially mistaking for the grand cross. Ignoring my own t-square with neptune for a moment which at 18' Sagg I think is potentially out of orb to his 29 Mars.. Have I interpreted this correctly i.e we each turn the other's square into two separate T-squares? I've included all the planets within orb below; Me; Sun 25 Pisces
Moon 23 Gemini
Jupiter 27 Gemini
Him;
Sun 23 Sagg
Merc 26 Sagg
Mars 29 Virgo Thanks

Hi guys, back to this guy, a couple weeks ago we crossed the line and slept together for first time in 18 months. It was on a loose friends with benefits agreement and now he's avoiding me...it's like he doesn't even want to face me. I think it's guilt or there could be another ex still in the picture. He does have fairly low self esteem which could result in him acting a this way. I know I'm as responsible for this as much as he is so I'm trying not to think badly of him.Or I wonder if the hard neptune is coming to the fore and I haven't been seeing him clearly all along. 1) Who do you think is the most disillusioned here?
2) Do you think all the close aspects are just too much? I also think the nodal and vertex conjunctions ie.my mars on his NN and his sun/Merc/neptune on my Vertex (which you may not be able to see) plus the saturn aspects points toward a karmic relationship which maybe too much to handle for him...karmic isn't usually good right?IP: Logged |
