As it's probably rather known in this forum by now, I've had the blessed fortune to explore a loving, committed relationship with my twin flame that flouts most traditions and conventions, and has overcome many major obstacles. We chose to undertake a sexual relationship for unconventional reasons, and, since December 2013, had been engaged in a complex 'deconstruction of sex'. That officially ended about a month ago, as we decided it was time that we drop the clinical approach, put away our metaphorical clipboards and just have sex, rather than studied, focussed, passionless yet caring intercourse. Sometimes you know too much, y'know? Though, in our case, it helped tremendously. The issue was discovering (or at least confirming) our mutually being in love with one another. Up to that point, I assumed we were asexual loving friends, exploring a sexual relationship for personal edification and hopeful integration of repressed sexualities. To find that he's in love with me was incredible -- but unanticipated. We no longer possessed legitimate reasons to withhold our feelings. We wanted to know what it is to make love -- truly lose our boundaries in the other and experience a depth of passion. To truly know one another in body and soul that transcends all of our rote knowledge and diligent exploration. To glimpse real sexual joy. And, finally, when we least expected it, despite both being deeply determined -- we did. Looking at our new updated Love Chart, I can't say I'm surprised by what I see. It's quite indicative of what we were feeling, and how the experience has impacted us both. I wanted to share it here, for analysis and discussion. IP: Logged |

What is the significance of the Love Chart? I have never heard of this before.I have an approximate (very close) time for mine. It's interesting. It makes sense in an almost textbook astrology way. But I don't know what it's there for. IP: Logged |

PT, The symbolism of the Love Chart is the 'chart' of the sexual relationship. That's why it's charted for the first time a couple 'makes love', per se. Being an Event Chart, it can take transits, have progressions, and so on. We delineate it much like a natal. We also perform synastric analysis between each member of the couple to the Love Chart to see how the sexual relationship is affecting both. And, in the case of a committed relationship, (or, if we just want to see their 'couple energy' in relation to it) we'll compare the composite. Some have suggested to do a composite of the Love Chart with each natal to get a new energy that's the individual + the sexual relationship. It's fascinating stuff! IP: Logged |
