This is a lovely topic, and I see every opposition and conjunction as having Full Moon and New Moon energy, and especially the ones with Sun and Moon. One reason why conjunctions and oppositions in general are so attractive and crucial in synastry. The entire relationship is somehow under the energetic umbrella of such a conjunction/opposition between Sun and Moon, the power of these two aspects is undeniable and infusing the chart. I have personal experience with both aspects and I will come back to discuss, pretty and lovely Faith. And we have this, you and me ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... Sun-Moon-opposition can be possibly very rewarding, fulfilling, complementing. But of course all the other aspects to that needs to be taken into account, too. My parents have that actually at about 1,5 degrees, though it is my Mom`s Sun opposing my Dad`s Moon. IP: Logged |

The septile is my natal lunar phase/ Sun-Moon-aspect. 51°10 which is a waxing septile with an orb of just 0°15. (I don´t know why, but I had noticed back then, that during the concert on 12th june, the lunar phase was complementary to mine, being a waning septile. For some reason that just got my attention, but I did not really think about it too deeply. Of course resulting from that my event-composite had a New Moon, Sun conjunct MOon on 23-24 Pisces. opposite Saturn btw, and once again, SAturn did not act as he is supposed to, or being thought of by most including myself, but it just makes me shake my head, what kind of effect those seemingly horribly Saturn-aspects had for the last 2 years in my life. Talking about event charts and transits, progressions and the likes of course.)

My probably irrelevant experience:my Sun opposite his Moon his Sun opposite my Moon by sign It's between my former phone friend and me. We met a few years ago on a text message chat, we never met even, there were offers from his side though. We haven't exchaned photos nor had a phone call even though I was rather open to the latter. In short, this was ruled by written words. At the beginning of our connection we were in frequent contact and we became quite intimate and attached if you can say that in this case. Eventually we drifted away for around 2 years without closure. A few months ago he messaged me out of the blue. He was in emotional turmoil and he missed being able to talk to me, he still trusted me and was sentimental about me (Cancer Moon). I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to reanimate it but I gave it a shot. I basically played his therapist most of the time and when he got better it started fading out again...I officially let him go during this eclipse. It wasn't what it used to be anymore, not to me at least and it seemed like the history was going to repeat itself. I decided to break the silence and I let him know that I'm letting go. He replied very shortly. He appeared to respect my decision. After that I wrote that I wish him good luck with everything and I'll have a good memory of him. He didn't say anything else. I hope this wasn't traumatizing to him. It was a sad event but I'm kinda proud of myself that I had the courage to do it. When we were close we had good mental chemistry and he openly appreciated my mind. I was supposedly the best person he met that way to him. He was in my top 3 if not the number 1 too. But hey, we're both Virgo risers... ------------------ Anomaling around since 1911. IP: Logged |

I found this - Moon opposite Sun, you too have an instant attraction you both feel intensely about your relationship although you tend to drive each other mad you wouldn’t swap your partner for all the tea in china. There are plenty of arguments but a great deal of harmony between you both too, you balance each other out and are equal partners in this relationship. But all info out there is conflicting about this aspect, and most is bad. I thought it would be ok because they are the lights and they are reflecting back at each other. Maybe that Sun is too far away for the moon to feel secure?
