Inspired by Faith's thread,
to dwell into you folks' astro knowledge even further, only now on my example. I searched for two people on the two opposite sides of my "affection" spectrum. One person I absolutely and wholeheartedly adore, admire, respect, I do know their weaknesses and don't idolize them, but nevertheless I have learned so much from them. Other person I can not stand, even their presence is off putting to me, the dislike has even physical dimension for me, I can't watch them, look them in the eyes, because I think everything shows in my face expression. I don't think I have ever known a person so off putting to me, I usually find something good and charming in everybody, but not in them. Unfortunately I have to spend more time with them than I'd like to. I have both of their TOB. PERSON A  PERSON B  This should be fun and educative!  IP: Logged |

I dont need asteroid. I'm just a much better composite reader than a synastry one haha

I agree that you adore person A, venus vertex conjunction, jupiter soft aspect venus, venus soft aspect north node, mercury conjunct DC, venus conjunct MC, venus opposite mars. Lots of venus happening!
Person B could be grating because mercury opposite mars, plus you have venus/pluto conjunction which can go awry, and mars pluto hard aspect.

Also going for person A.
Their Moon is Vasya (magnetic attraction) to yours. In fact, I suspect this person would say the above words about you (rather than the other way around). I go for a terribly grateful vibe from your side because of such deep loyalty from this person to you. Their Moon is also exactly quindecile your Sun, if that matters. IP: Logged |

Yes it's vedic. You first have to substract 23 degree form your Western Moon sign. And then you get a Pisces-moon which is Vasya to Sag Moon. I made a thread about it on the vedic board.
You can read past the 'Rajju and Vedha dosha' there. Just focus on the 'Vasya' aspect. In my experience it's not only applicable to romantic relationships.

In terms of synastry:
-Your venus is on A's vertex and you also have a stellium in A's 7th. So you understand where A's emotional perspective is from.
-your mars oppose A's venus
-A's jupiter also sextile your mercury
For B:
-B's mars oppose your mercury, your mars oppose B's mercury. You both get on each other's nerves
-Your saturn squares B's north node and B's venus is on your pluto; you bring a sense of discipline and restriction to B and B provokes very strong feelings from you
Composite:
For A:
-Moon square pluto, opposite mars brings very intense feelings. Not necessarily bad. You probably have very deep feelings for A.
-Moon also trine venus and square jupiter. So overall very jovial and affectionate
For B:
-Sun conjunct pluto, moon square saturn, venus square saturn => again, strong feelings but also very cold feelings and a sense of discipline is present.
So composite really confirms synastries

IMO, it has to be the 2nd chart, the one you like; but I'll explain my choice after the "verdict"

There is one single intriguing aspect in the 1st, Venus conj MC opp your Mars. Apart from that, there is nothing rhyming with "adore" in there. EDIT: because that would be a potential admiration aspect.and maybe Saturn completing the Sun/Moon T/square but that would actually make you craving for the person or wanting to teach them a lesson On the other hand, it is interesting to notice Mars is over-active in the 2nd (however in tune with your chart), while for the first, it's focused on this classical aspect on MC/IC axis hm and not much else for Mars. The main difference here is that the first synastry is weak, superficial contact, while the second is a strong strong synastry. IP: Logged |

Let me just emphasize again that there is no sexual interest involved, at all and there never will be. Maybe I should just say that one person is a woman, other man. just to spice things up, although I'm not sure how would that help. anyway, there are so many things not being mentioned, which I would notice right away (and did, when I first checked them), but maybe they're too obvious and beginners level :P IP: Logged |

My opinion is that chart B is a strong synastry and with many reasons for liking and being inspired by the person. But for some reason, based on your reaction, I have the feeling it's actually person A you like.
In that case, I wonder how well you know person A? if the interaction went beyond the Venus/Mars initial "sparks"? (which can go either way, btw).Synastry A, on a deeper level, has a number of important flaws: it's not what you need, somehow contradicts your natal needs, even antagonizes them. Also, the simplest answer would be your Venus is unaspected in that synastry, so why would you like them in the first place? While the 2nd holds a very attractive Venus sq (at least for you) among other things. But I guess we should discuss this after the answer IP: Logged |
