Ascendant is like a secondary Sun.

Can't say much for nSynastry. However, in pSynasttry pMoon to nAsc is a major attractor along with pMoon conjunct nSun.

Same as Sun/Moon. Except I believe you're more attracted to them physically. You're more conscious of their shape and body proportions.

I want to use the word ideal, but Neptune is in conjunction for all such aspects for me.

i have it with my bff, a guy i have known for 12 years now. i find him emotionally draining sometimes (he's the moon, i am asc.). there is no attraction from me - he is married anyway - but he is generous towards me with compliments. he can sometimes get moody if i don't sense his emotional state and he is very sensitive - not sure if he's like this allt he time though. i would say he is more affected by the friendship than me. i have gone months without contacting him, but he is the one who always restarts the friendship. we have an exact moon-asc. conjunction, it's less than a degree.

My father's ASC is 0º10 conjunct my MOON.

We've always been super-tight. I feel that, despite my manner being more akin to my mother's, and my clearly being 'my mother's daughter', I'm also 'daddy's girl'. My father and I have the same emotional profile. I 'inherited' his ASC for my MOON, (and my mother's SATURN for my VENUS.)

I have this with mine. He's asc , I'm moon. In Libra. He's the 1st person I've ever been with that I'd consider 'the total package.' I've always had the looks, but not enough mental connection/ and vice versa. Or I had looks and mental, but nothing in common. In fact, I'd given up on finding him and was quite sure he didn't exist.
