I've heard this composite aspect analyzed in two ways. The couple either had an intense sexual drive for one another or the relationship ends in one of three ways: divorce, death or with extreme financial gains and losses. What's the real deal? Anyone have any experience with this specific composite? To be specific, this aspect is composite Aries house 8 in the 16th degree.

And that's the thing about astrology. Could be one or all of the above -- or none. Depends upon the whole chart analysis.

Welcome to LL, Mergoatsun.

Thank you for the welcome. Hmm. Is there any clear indicator of death or divorce in a composite chart?

The SATURN/8H overlay can be suspect in the death department. Of course that's a VERY dangerous thing to say, and it must be carefully considered. But in terms of textbook approaches, that's one.

Strictly in a composite? Nothing that I know of is so fatalistic, no.

Huh okay. Do you know anything about saturn in the 7th house composite? I've always heard saturn in 7th house composite means commitment and long term relationship or extreme sadness and feeling like there is always work for the relationship. Or do you think it could be both ways? I'm actually fascinated by fatalistic astrology.

Depends. Fatalistic astrology is sketchy at best, interesting but sketchy. Don't take it too seriously, you need to look at your whole chart and if you are relating it to another person there is so much more than just a composite or synastry involved as well. Take it with a grain of salt, investigate more.

Mars conjunct Vertex in the 8th in composite with my soon-to-be-ex... I just lost a great deal of money on a really stupid real estate deal which i never should have made--i take responsibility for the stupidity, but i did it largely because I was deluded by the promise of the relationship. I can attest to the extreme financial gains/losses thing. Still waiting on the gains though...

Very interesting! Thank you for sharing. I have Mars square P. Fortune in the 8th house with my current love, I wonder how that will play out.

I'm not sure the POF is relevant in composite charts--it seems telling to me, but I've read from several sources that it isn't used in composites because it's a calculated point and the composite isn't a chart in time and space. With that logic though I wouldn't use the ascendant either--it's the midpoint of the natal POFs and therefore likely significant. But then the POF is a midpoint itself--midpoints of midpoints gets kinda weird but as we were discussing in the other thread re: midpoints within a composite chart, they seem quite useful...

I wonder if that made any sense at all.

Composite Mars in 8th shows a very active sexual relationship. Uranus in 7th house usually shows divorce but that depends also on transits.

Is the 7th house Uranus for composite chart or does it also signify divorce in natal chart positions as well?

Yup, I can attest to this. Within maybe like a week or two I knew my relationship with my significant other was going to be serious. I had never wanted to commit to someone so much before (I'm an aqua venus) but with him I knew that I wanted to be with him forever.
