Which aspects, planets or asteroids in a synastry would make two people hang on to eachother energetically, not allowing the other to release themselves? IP: Logged |

Hard to say. It seems mutual. Though, I can definitely say that SATURN does. It's almost in that sense of, you finally think they're gone, and, nope. They've just been biding their time, it seems. Then they're almost angry with you for not making as grand of an effort. In my experience, it's very complex -- and perplexing. IP: Logged |

hmmm yes i can understand this. It does seem like both in my experience. One of us is saturn and the other is south node on both our moons. A recipe for glue! It's comforting though, especially if you have evolved enough not to confine the other out of insecurity and let them be.. IP: Logged |

It's definitely Saturn.Saturn conjuncts Sun just wants you to commit to this person but without enough love aspects, you are left hanging on wondering if it's love or not.

What I mean is feeling the other is still holding on to you whenever they want too and not allowing you to release them.Does Saturn have all this power to do this? IP: Logged |

Is it usual for saturn to "bide their time"/ wait for the right moment to make a move but not saying anything so that the other person thinks saturn has already moved on? Because I see that in many couples and my father did that to my mother, too.IP: Logged |

That's a tricky one. And, when it comes to that relationship, I always find myself returning to The Newsroom; the series that ran during that time and was eerily similar in so, so many ways. Apologies for the massive spoilers here -- it was a brilliant show. But, if you're curious, the Will and Mac dynamic is pretty spot-on for what I went through and felt as the MOON. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcLgly0Etv4&feature=youtu.be&t=18s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qnZPXBOWU0&feature=youtu.be&t=2m http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeUPAwtdxTM&feature=youtu.be&t=1m3s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Vhca4V_FhM&feature=youtu.be&t=1m And, for those who'd prefer to skip the dramatic allegory above, it was very simple, in the end. If SATURN feels as if they have been harmed in any way, or is unable to experience true intimacy for whatever reason -- anyone who's capable of 'making' them feel that -- is a threat. And, if, by some miracle, they were capable of thinking they could really love you, God help you if you tire of the runaround, or mistake their sincerity for the failure to commit that it appears to be -- they will never forgive you for it ... ... unless they decide to. My karmic soulmate and I actually watched the final episode featuring the last clip together, as we made it a habit of watching the show together, whenever we could. That was ... hard. In discussing 'the episode', we were essentially talking about our relationship without actually discussing it -- as we were prone to do. I asked him, in short, what made Will McAvoy change his mind, and decide to forgive MacKenzie. I'll never forget what he said. He couldn't forgive her until something allowed him to finally feel what she was feeling; to understand her pain. 'His own pain was too deep and too powerful to where it blotted out hers.' And, until something finally snapped him out of it and got him to realise it, 'he would keep on hurting her.' I thought, I might be overanalysing this, but then he added: 'You of all people should understand that, Aub.' You of all people. No. I wasn't overanalysing or 'reading into' anything. Whatever unforgivable error I committed at some point in our past had such weight and depth to prevent him from ever truly empathising with what I've gone through, to where, on some level, he feels justified in hurting me. And, yes -- at some point, he did openly admit that. So, is SATURN attached as well? More so than I think they want to be. I'd almost attribute some of the worst heartbreaks being between those where one has deep psychological wounds with strong SATURN synastry. It's not always a good thing. But, should you be dealing with an emotionally available, mature and loving individual? Indeed, SATURN can be wonderful. In our case, it was not. He decided not to learn to heal, or try to be able to really love me. My boyfriend did. It's no surprise that, through my last 'relationship', I learnt how to love myself in a way I hadn't before, and to stop becoming involved with complex, damaged men who were actively choosing against healing and ever loving me. Frankly, I was flabbergasted when my boyfriend came to me, not more than a few days -- if that -- later, and completely independently, telling me that he wanted to be able to truly love me in the way that I deserve. March 2013. And so, the hard work of making that a reality began. I'm free of the Will-and-Mac loop, minus the happy ending. But, hey. Don't cry for me, Argentina. It all worked out far better than I ever could've hoped. (Bear in mind, this last one's not exactly safe-for-work. Discretion and all that should apply.) Shared this one because of how personal the song is to me. It 'haunted' me for months. I couldn't believe it when I later heard it on the series. Time definitely felt as if it slowed for that moment -- though, I don't think it actually had. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJ1EDAOdTr8 IP: Logged |

I have this going on with my ex. We both know it's a terrible relationship, but it's extremely hard to let go, more for him than it is for me. I left him four months ago and have tried to move on semi-successfully. He has slowly deteriorated since then. I've been thinking I'm happy and have moved on for awhile. And I really have. But he called me last night just telling me how there was no one like me and hinting on getting back together (which CANNOT happen). Even so, the conversation reduced me to tears. I don't go a day without thinking about what we had and wondering if I'll have anything close to it again. In synastry, my Venus is trine his Saturn and opposite his Pluto. His saturn also squares my sun. As far as my Saturn, it trines his Mars and opposes his moon. I think the composite is even more telling though. Our composite Venus is trine Pluto, which sits right on the DSC.

Ugh. I have the same experience. It's terrible but he can't let go of me. I left him but in three weeks, he would try to pull me back in again. In synastry: His saturn semi-square my sun, Saturn trine moon Saturn sextile mercury Saturn square venus Saturn conjunct mars Saturn trine jupiter Pluto square sun Pluto trine venus My saturn oppose his sun Saturn quincunx venus Saturn trine jupiter Saturn conjunct uranus Saturn conjunct neptune Pluto bi-quintile sun Pluto trine mercury Pluto trine mars In composite Saturn trine mercury Saturn trine venus Saturn square mars Saturn trine jupiter Saturn conjunct uranus Saturn semi-square pluto Pluto quincunx sun Pluto square moon Pluto oppose mercury Pluto semi-square mars Pluto semi-square uranus Pluto sextile neptune Just recently we decide to compromise more, but we'll see.. I think the person with the IC is likely to hang on because they feel so familiar with the other person. Feels like home for them. IP: Logged |

Sun, Moon, Venus ( these three are the most important) in conjunction to Saturn. If its DW you will feel trapped to each other.I have Venus conjunction Saturn in DW. I want to escape but I cant. He denies what we have by escaping his own reality. He feels trapped too. Only time (Saturn) will decide our fate. IP: Logged |
