In my opinion it's a difficult aspect, but it always depends on what you bring to the relationship.
If you have it natally, you are already familiar with this energy.

But it's just one aspect! It really depends on the whole chart.

I have an exact URANUS square VENUS in my synastry with my twin; his URANUS is 9º from my own VENUS, creating a sense of a dual aspect, though it's more ambient in his direction.

But guess who's Mr AWOL? Who refuses to have a mobile phone because he cannot abide by 'an electronic lead' ? Mmm-hmm. That would not be me, Miss Uranus over here. I can't even point to the Lilithian traits of his MOON conjunct BML; I'm a SUN conjunct BML myself. And it's true. We're both this way.

So is it just that when it's happening to me, that that's when I notice it? Or is that incredibly wide 'conjunction' of his URANUS to my VENUS still doing something? Not even linked by declination. There could be something else going on, but what might it be?

Thus far, all we've got is the 0º10 square of his VENUS to my URANUS. Perhaps, in an effort to deal with my own issues in this regard (especially given that he's my twin -- or what-have-you) I've simply 'outsourced' the Uranian energy to him, so that I may learn to confront and overcome it?
