If you've separated from someone only later to be brought back together (willfully or not) what would you look for?I was thinking AC/DC, but I wondered what in the chart could indicate reunions? 8th??? As unresolved issues? I recently reunited w/someone when Tr. Venus rx was just re-entering our Composite 8h... IP: Logged |

What are the transiting nodes doing to your composite, and natal charts? How are each of your individual nodes being aspected by transit right now? I'm finding transits to nodes and transiting nodes very telling in my current attitude toward relating... but I'm on a break-up rampage rather than any kind of inclination towards reunion! (Tr. NN and Mercury currently conjunct my True Black Moon, causing me to favour striking out on my own over any kind of compromise which isn't exactly right for me..., Tr. SN conjunct my Mars, telling me it's ABSOLUTELY OK to leave dominating masculine behaviour/presence behind right now... transiting Mars and Jupiter conjunct MY south node (whoa nelly...)... and transiting Neptune conjunct my NN)anyway that was my unrelated example of how transits to nodes can be useful in determining present needs and attitudes. The energy of the heavens right now, with the NN and Mercury in Libra, is conciliatory in and of itself. Transiting Venus RX into the composite 8th could indeed mean unfinished business--or a sense of not having squeezed all the juice out of the union and going back for more!-- would need to know more details because this alone doesn't tell me all that much personally... Maybe someone has more experience with reunion charts in general? But I would need to see the charts to know what was causing the urge to reunite.. IP: Logged |

that sounds about right lol! lotssss of things that never got said, etc... TR. Mars on your Node...good for you! It's good to step away from toxic/dominating situations/people. Kudos to you! I will definitely look more into our natal charts...as I had really only checked the composite so far.

Always good to take the natals into account... they tell a complete picture of how it's playing out with each person... very important. I never used to do so, really focused so heavy on the synastry and composites without pausing or giving myself space to consider... how is this for me? Very empowering, clarifies things all around and encourages compassion and patience with circumstances as they are to take the natals into account for me. I wonder what predisposes some to interpersonal astrology. Libra emphasis I'm guessing... my Venus 12h Libra... but we all have a strong desire to relate as humans but.. yeah. It is interesting. Anyway, I'm interested to hear what you come up with. Thanks for the kudos I'm still really interested in how people play together lol just hoping to make a successful break with negative Martian stuff... it's a tr. Node-mars, tr. Mars-node double whammy right now! It's weirding me out lol... IP: Logged |

Hey, that's a good question. How long of a period of separation are we talking here?Technically, my boyfriend and I were apart for 6 months, and then our relationship kind of 'faded off' for another 2 years. I think we both consider the actual time we got back together to be the 2 years later. So, that might count as a 'reunion' circumstance. IP: Logged |

Check the data! I bet it's interesting. Me I've never had a successful reunion. I think they're maybe rare and special. Maybe Pluto and Scorpio and 8th house would be prominent because of the regeneration aspect of these energies... that which dies and is resurrected, and that which is so strong it endures intense turmoil and separation, only to sprout up again...IP: Logged |

tPLUTO, definitely. Hmm. Maybe even tISIS and tOSIRIS -- the fragmentation and completion of what was 'dead' and 'separate' becoming whole again. I'm torn on tORPHEUS and tEURYDIKE; they didn't exactly 'end' well. IP: Logged |

Ceres-Persephone? I know that's a different kind of relationship... but Ceres alone seems to speak of reunion and regeneration also... symbolically...IP: Logged |
