I know they are important with regards to composite charts

For example
Sun/moon midpoints on each others Nodes (I have this DW with someone)
Venus/mars midpoint on each others sun

Are these important in synastry? How important would they be?

It's interesting to consider nodes on the midpoints in synastry. The effect will perhaps be subtle but through time the sense of warmth and completion which comes from a contact to your sun/moon midpoint by the north node of another person would be lovely because they will sense that you have some intrinsic understanding of and essence of that which they most need for personal growth and fulfillment--this gets reflected back and the sun/moon midpoint person is likely to feel very appreciated... that's my read. The south node contact could be comforting too... could be overwhelming after a while but is likely to be positive because of the gentle completion and essential health of this midpoint. Depends how else it is activated natally and by transit to see how healthy it can manifest though.

Venus/mars midpoint is a very sexual and romantic spot, lots of potential for passion and gratification in a loving context there... with the Suns mutually conjunct the Venus/Mars midpoints those people are going to embody the essence of that person's sexual and romantic ideal in some fundamental ways, and it will be very pleasing indeed to relate with one another; lots of pride in one another as they constantly project the synthesis of attractiveness and desire...

Would be interested in seeing the rest of the synastry... what has the universe constructed around such a set of d/ws? also interested in hearing other people's reads of the aspects...
