BUT, with my current boyfriend, I tried to do the 'just friends' thing a few times and always just fell back in love in a heartbeat with him. Him to. We'll never just be friends, I believe.

I've experienced 5/8/7 both ways.
There was no way to avoid it. Actually, we knew that it was a bad idea (circumstances) and one day we literally kind of woke up and said, "we're in love. How the f**k did that happen?!?"

My best male friend and I have mutual 5H/8H overlays, but I swear i only see him as a brother, and he does too. I can't even imagine being with him as with a man. Seems... unnatural. Like incest. LOL.

But we do have:

My Moon exactly conjunct his Venus (his 5H ruler) in his 8th, my Jupiter exactly conjunct his Juno in his 8th (all of this is also conjunct by 3 degrees)

His 8th house ruler Moon conjuncts my 5th house Cusp, and my Neptune (7H ruler), conjuncts my 5th house ruler Saturn, squares my Venus, and other aspects as well.

His Mars in my 8th house, which should in theory make me want him as hell, but i definitely don't. His Mars in this 8th house trines my Jupiter, which is in HIS 8th house, so again a connection here.

And his 5th house ruler Venus, as i said, conjuncts my Moon and my Jupiter in his 8th, sextiles my Venus and my Mars (8th house ruler) exactly, squares my Pluto, etc.

My boyfriend's MOON-BML is conjunct my PRIAPUS; my EROS is conjunct his PRIAPUS, my SUN-BML is conjunct his (true) PRIAPUS-MARS-LILITH. His mean PRIAPUS is in the same sign as my true BML, but out of orb.

Also, her Venus is conjuct my BML/Anti-vertex.

My True lilith, Lust and Aphrodite are conjuct her NN, Priapus on her SN and BML

We often don't contact or meet eachother for long periods of time because of this.
Even though our synastry has mainly strong friendship aspects

One Synastry book I have, indicates it is usually the Planet person who feels it more than the House person in the case of the 5th and 8th. (Which goes along with Sinder's recently stated experience).

He just may be practically dying with love and intense attraction for her, but because he senses it is not returned, he acts cool about it. After awhile of having to act and damp things down, maybe it does get damped down over time though.

I know a person where their Venus is in my 8th and is just barely opposed my Mars Jupiter conjunction, and also opposed my Saturn--ruler of Sun and Mercury, and faster moving co-ruler of my Venus and DESC. But, my Sun is in her 5th House, and conjunct her Neptune, ruler of her Venus and DESC. Then, the ruler of her Sun, 8th, and co-ruler of her Moon--Mars is almost exactly conjunct my ASC and opposed my Venus. Then, my Jupiter, ruler of my 5th and co-ruler of my 8th is almost exactly conjunct her ASC.

If there is any truth to the above, along with other patterns and indications which point to similar, I suspect she was overwhelmed by her attraction, desire, etc to me, and having a lot of fear and need for control, she had to erect powerful, powerful walls and boundaries to keep me at bay.

After all, the Lass has Scorpio Moon conjunct Pluto conjunct IC, Sun in the 8th, and Venus Saturn conjunction in the 7th. A very intensely, intensely feeling person, but has been through a lot and feels an even more intense need to protect, and to not lose, herself in relation to another. Understandable from an ego and material standpoint. Doesn't quite hold up to one's twin soul and a destined connection/partnership though.

Yeah...

We broke up but I wanted to reconnect a month ago. I wrote him saying that I would want to talk again, but just as friends. Max. friends. It was a good talk anyway because I saw that he did not have any bad feelings for me after the breakup like I thought he had and we forgave each other.

2 days later he kept insisting to be together like we should have been and he was texting me about this in detail from 2am to 7am inclusively. i did not like this and I blocked him again explaining that I cant afford to do this anymore although I can still feel the same.

Two of them ~
Guy1   5/12th and  10th/5th  The energy unspoken is felt. Very Plutonian in a passion sense. Both people have urges towards one another. Certainly could be seen by others too (10th). As well the Scorpio/ Sagittarius  chemistry is often powerful. One way or another.

Guy2   12th/1st + 12/11th   just one away but this overlayis  that underlaying of "I know what you're thinking"  kinda energy. Both carry Sagittarius so that's a probability too.
