This is my mom's birth chart. Do you see anything that makes her prone to sensitivity? She's super sensitive, takes things personally, and tends to blow things way out of proportion - ugh, it drives me crazy sometimes!  IP: Logged |

She has peregrine Moon and Venus, her emotional response is very personal and unusual. Plus a strong Cancer vibe with Venus in Cancer and Moon in the 4th  With Jupiter, Uranus and Sag, things can blow out of proportion, if we consider the sign, the sesquis and the wide trine. ------------------

Is her TOB correct? If so, your Aries placements might fall into her 8th house.Also, unaspected Sagittarius moon in the 4th and an unaspected Cancer Venus. Bad aspects to Mars seem to bring out the hypersensitivity in others. IP: Logged |

Ah, moon in 4th. I didn't even notice! I was also unaware of the compilations of an unaspected moon and Venus. She isn't just only sensitive with me- it's with everyone. She told me once that her coworker (who is also my friend) said to her that I sent her a picture of my boyfriend and I, and she asked her if she had seen the picture as well. My mom took that as the girl trying to one-up her and thought it was rude of her. Tonight, she is mad at me because she said I cancelled on lunch plans with her. When actually, I suggested we have lunch at 2pm because I had a ten mile race in the morning and anything earlier wouldn't work. When she found out I had a run, she said for us not to go anymore, because 2pm is too late for her. So I went to my parent's house this afternoon around 2, and she was mad at me for "cancelling". The birth times are correct! Here is our synastry chart. I have no idea how to read it as mother-daughter. Don't get me wrong, I love my mom very much. We are very close friends. She is an amazing woman who will do anything for anyone, no questions asked. But her sensitivity is really something else!!  IP: Logged |

You're Uranus on her moon is one of the issues...
She might want more emotional closeness and here way of comunicating that might be acting overly sensitive.IP: Logged |

The Full Moon, they say, bring out the crazies. Emotions run high. Your mom was born under such an influence so she's emotionally open and impressionable by default. Every whisper/glance/intonation registers. I'm also a Gemini-Sagittarius w/ Virgo Asc. I remember complaining about age 20 how sensitive I was, even when I didn't want to care the emotion won't let go until I processed it. I don't complain anymore or try to explain myself because its filtered through that I'm either silly or petty. Which delivers more crap to process. No. I get cold and distant "out of the blue." Yes, that's my mom! She is super outgoing, everyone loves her, and she is a super-extrovert. But then someone looks at her "wrong" and she thinks they hate her. I have to tell her she is just being sensitive and the look meant nothing. *sigh* IP: Logged |
