Is this as bad as it seems? We have amazing aspects with a lot of longevity and endurance indicated. Where can I find more info on this?

As in, you both have SUN at 28º Leo - 1º Virgo, (depending)?

Regulus is a fixed star, not an asteroid. It has recently shifted from late Leo into Virgo, but it does not orbit the Sun. It's considered positive to have a planet on this star.

My sun is 28 Leo. His sun is Aqua. I wish I knew how to answer your question. Both Reg are 29 Leo Longitude but which of these numbers do you use? Is it declination, speed, what? If it's Declination you mean then they're both at 12.

Bluejay, what I read says that if it is conjunct the sun or venus then it means disappointments and trouble involving love affairs. It trines venus exact though in synastry. I think this conjunction is why Leo's are having such problems right now in this area.

Regulus is "outside" your chart. What you happen to have in your chart conjunct it as a FIXED star, FAR FAR FAR away, may or may not bring Regulus into your particular chart more so. It's not something that moves from its position (really), always at the same place, so doesn't do squat for most people for all I care. Conjunctions and at most oppositions considered with Fixed stars by most people. And if you two were born even within a few years of each other, Regulus won't have moved worth a damn likewise, as said. Extremely narrow orbs recommended for Fixed stars, 3 degrees seeming nightmarishly wide for most of them, or example. But Regulus is probably the biggest of the Royal Stars, and with the "lights" at least a slightly wider than the 1 (or "at most" 1,5) degree orb might pass?

In case you didn't read other Fixed star descriptions, have a look. There aren't any good ones in old descriptions. They're all doom and gloom one way or another.

Out of Leo Regulus Sun curiosity, what do you mean "why Leo's are having such problems right now in this area"? I don't recall seeing anything such on the boards here.

Basically, a Fixed star conjunct the same fixed star is like Draconic North Node conjunct another person's Draconic North Node. Can't not be conjunct.

I'm more confused now. You're saying Regulus transits have no effect? Both natal Reg are conjunct at 29 Leo and conjunct my sun at 28 Leo. If it's conjunct my sun, I read that it meant disappointments through love affairs, that they would happen but wouldn't work out. You're saying this interp has changed? I'm just curious if ours being conjunct intensifies the effect or somehow helps us.

Let's see if I can take a jab at this to maybe help with your confusion. Regulus is a "fixed" star, by "fixed" I mean that it does not orbit the sun and is in fact a stationary star. I does move a little but it takes centuries for the degree to REALLY change since it is not in the suns orbital field. It does not transit, therefore, every person on this planet today has Regulus conjunct Regulus in their chart. Ex: Your Regulus is conjunct my Regulus...and so on. Hope this helped a little as far as interpretation of placements conjunct or opposite, traditional (esoteric) astrology has mostly/only(?)
Fatalistic interpretations. Modern astrology has given these fixed stars a more positive interpretation...well most of them at least. Read up a bit more on Regulus, I don't really associate anything negative with him...but this is only my opinion from my research. Best of luck in your search!

OK, thank you. I saw good things for almost all of them except sun conjunct. Is that the exception?
