Hmm it feels like nowadays, any aspect or configuration means fate and intensity lol. I don't really agree with the description in the first post, we have to take the elements into account to know what effects it really has. Not everything is crazy intense sexual obsessive.

In my own composite, I have a yod involving Chiron/AC/NN sextile Moon, and both quincunx Pluto. Pluto opposes their midpoint. This is not about sex nor romance, in this case it's about healing, emotional sensitivity versus cruelty/hurt. This is also part of a major connfiguration in our composite that involves Neptune (Npetune sextiles Pluto, squares Moon) and Saturn (Saturn squares Moon/Neptune midpoint).
Our major issue is learning how to understand, empathize and be compassionate to each other's vulnerability instead of being cold and critical. Our emotional connection can help in healing each other in this relationship, but at times it can be fogged.

You have a love stellium in the 8th and a moon conjunct Pluto as part of your yod sextiling neptune! Ummm, really you think he hates you??!! This surprises me...yeah, I'm definitely going to say it has to to do with with all that emotional moon, Plutonian Neptunian energy not knowing how to handle all that aries mars!!! But that's JMO...

Editing to add that in synastry our ascendants are about a degree apart, his moon is conjunct my sun, and his Venus lands on my MC.

I want to bodyslam him like a kung fu flick.

I wonder if the fact that mars in your composite here is indicated with "+opp.house" which apparently means that mars could also be located in libra in this case would have a different affect here. Either way all that quincunx energy being shot at mars in aries I can't imagine as being all that comfortable or romantic LOL.

I have a composite yod with someone who I have a past life connection with, between venus, saturn, and our moon at the apex in the 9th house, and while there is a large soul bond where I feel we could never truly be separated, it is not so much a romantic or obsessive feeling. The apex moon in the 9th house has given it a more spiritual and philosophical vibe, however I do have a composite yod with the apex being in the 8th house in another chart and I can't disagree with the description for that one lmao.

me and Aries have a north node Yod in our Composite. Does North Node at the apex count, you think?
Pluto in the 5th, Neptune in the 7th at the base, and North Node in the 12th at the apex. ( South Node in opposition to the apex, makes it a boomerang yod)

Not sure if Nodes are considered part of a configurationn pattern, thou...

Certainly my most intense relationship right off the bat. I can already see themes around developing a home, our comfort/resources and higher learning. I just started a demanding medical program, he's applying to law school (out of the country, nevertheless) and in no time we're already discussing living arrangements. It's early, but I'm feeling the yod.

Any thoughts?

Just realized I may have a yod (?) in my currently relationship and maybe that’s why I feel such an intense pull to the terrifying energy? It’s almost like a feeling of resignation and liking it.

My parents may or may not have a yod in their synastry (birth times are unknown) and a grand trine in their composite.

Aside from those two configurations, I do not see why my parents are still married lol. Astrology aside, there ARE a lot of codependency, trauma bonding issues going on too so it might have absolutely nothing to do with Astrology.. but I also believe the answers are ambiguous and multifaceted.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. ahem.

my mother's mercury/ venus/ jupiter conjunction quincunx my dad's Venus.

My mother's moon is trine his Sun and my father's Jupiter conjuncts almost ALL of my mother's planets. His Saturn is UNASPECTED.

In composite their grand trine involves jupiter, mars/ saturn conjunction, and neptune.

So despite the extremely poor compatibility, they managed to stick it out because they're both overly committed to the relationship?

I have a Yod in my composite with this fellow but were not actually in a relationship yet, just had 3 dates so far but the energy is amazing, magnetic attraction, Id happily be his girlfriend if he asked me to, and I hope he does soon! Yod is between MC. NN and Sun/Venus conjunction.
