Overlays, that is. The Sun belongs to a male, the Moon belongs to a female. What do you think?------------------ Anomaling around since 1911. IP: Logged |

Hm I had sun in the 6th synastry before. I was the sun person before and in my current relationship I am the house person.I think it makes for a realtionship that is based on a cycle of rescuing, helping, enabling, needing to be saved etc. One person will be in a helpless situation that the other person helps out in. It can drift back and forth. I read a long time ago that neptune aspects can make a relationship revolve around or start from feelings of pity. I think this applies to the 6th house too. Kind of like you cant to take in a hurt animal and nurture it bak to health but in the back of your mind you also want to gain its love and devotion. To me, this is a 6-12 virgo-pisces theme... With your synastry, I think maybe the male might feel protective and nurturing and maybe pity for the female's emotions or emotional state. The female might want to bring the male out of a bad situation or shelter him from the hardships of his life. This is really general lol. IP: Logged |

My bf's moon is in my 6th and my moon is in his 6th In the most mundane interpretation of the house.. we met at work! I would say our relationship is a great working "team" - it isn't about mad, hypnotic passion, but we "play house" together extremely well. Things run like clockwork in our household, we take care of petty, insignificant details in each others lives, we're both very much "in service" to one another emotionally in the spirit of Virgo. To add to the Virgo theme, I have a Virgo ASC and he a Virgo NN (both are conjunct one another at that) My moon also falls into my best friend's 6th house.. another ex-co worker! Sometimes, just by existing as who I am, she'll try to emulate me in a lot of ways. If I start working out, she'll start working out. If I stop drinking, she'll make strides to stop drinking. If I'm taking classes, she'll enroll in classes. But it's not an obnoxious, copy-cat sort of vibe. It's definitely an admiration, an "I value what you value" kind thing. My mom's Sun is in my 6th house. She has always sacrificed to give me everything I've ever needed. Oftentimes she'll joke around and call me "her project" - we go to the gym together, take kick boxing classes together, she's my hairstylist and the person I learned make up from. In a lot of ways, much like how my friend strives to emulate some of the more responsible actions I take in my life, sometimes I feel that way about my mom!

Thanks for sharing. It may seem like a lame overlay but here both luminaries are conjunct another person's Vertex so it wouldn't necessarily be ordinary.------------------ Anomaling around since 1911. IP: Logged |

The sixth house is extremely underrated in my opinion. Passion (7th/1st) and obsession (2nd/8th) are cool and everything but truly, I believe a good portion long term overlays belong to the "duller", more service orientated houses (10th/6th) when it comes to couplehood. Gotta create a sturdy foundation somewhere! Plus, if my 6th house relationship has taught me anything, you guys having a Sun/Moon there means youre both in tune with each others day to day needs, running errands for one another is never an issue, the comforts of daily life are in sync with one another etc. This is the grease that really keeps a partnership going - there's no understating it.
