Supposedly the SN represents the past so with Venus there the relationship is from the past.I don't know whether that is the past in general or a past life,I have read both. For some reason it never seemed so promising, like everything about the relationship is rooted in the past, like you knew them before, but what does that mean for the future?

I was just researching this online and came across this thread - very cool.

I have a south node conjunct Venus double whammy with a man I've been trying to get close to at work. He and I also have Venus opposite Saturn double whammy.

I was attracted to him from the get go, when I first saw him. But I never spoke to him, despite being wildly outgoing - with men I'm really more the pursued than the pursuer. It took me about three weeks to even acknowledge his existence. I WANTED to be around him all the time, I found everything about him beautiful, even though everyone else hates him at work lol.

But once I had the opportunity to speak to him one on one in a more relaxed environment, I enjoyed his company so much. A two hour conversation on just random everything. All of the sudden he starts showing me pics of his apartment and how he's decorated it and I held his hand while he held his phone and there was no flinching, no discomfort, nothing. (I tell you that part because I really am a shy type when it comes to men...)

Everything with him feels natural. I have no fear, and my normal shy self that doesn't want to approach men WANTS to approach him. He and I meet eyes all the time and he looks away, he seems untrusting of people, private, he seems to lack confidence.

I can sense that he feels this tension too, but if he's not inclined to the metaphysical, would he be the type to feel anything?

I owe him something. This is the feeling I get from him. I owe him something. I'm always offering to help him, and feel like I need to support him. But he takes it as though I'm trying to step on his toes at work. But I feel this overwhelming urge inside of myself to help him in some way. Has anyone else noticed anything like this with the South Node/Venus aspect?

I had an boyfriend and we had his venus conjunct my South node. He and I had a weird on and off again thing for years. It's a long story. And at first it kind of bothered me bcuz I was really into him but then I came to turns that with the on/off quality. I knew he loved me. I ended up ending things with him. (kinda rudely too) Then moved away. I had lost touch with him for four years. As soon as I moved back he was one of the first people I ran into. We got together a few years ago and he told me he would always love me and that it was too bad that our timing was always off. I told him we have a bond and I will always love him and that I'm truly happy for him. (Bcuz I am)

My Ex and I have My Venus on his SN. His Venus is conjunct my Venus, and he has Venus conj SN natally.

We were together for 4 years, and we met so suddenly and unexpectedly. I saw him across a crowded room and we stared at each other for hours until he finally came over. I felt that I'd known him for years. His Saturn/Pluto/Mars was also square my Venus. It was not meant to be- too many problems (different religions/cultural backgrounds). It was soo hard to break up with him, but I'm glad I did. As the Venus person, I felt so incredibly drained by him! I was sooo nice, giving, and generous towards him. I have read the descriptions of this aspect online, and it is so true. I definitely think he did something nice for me in the past, and it was time for me to pay him back. And boy, did I ever pay him back. I was so drained by the end of the relationship that I just had to let him go, even though it was hard. Still think about him. He is married now but stalks me sometimes.

My bf's south node is conjunct my vertex exactly and ever since our first date we've spent every single day together since. We've been together three years btw and live together.

I was the Venus to someone's SN... their Venus was conjunct my NN. I felt I could "see through" them so easily, whereas they were a total enigma to everyone else. They admitted to a "love at first sight" pull once I walked through the door. There is an incredible chemistry there and I have an inclination towards past lives.. I am sure we were together at one point in one. His Uranus is also on my SN - instantaneous and unexpected attraction. Our synastry is all kinds of f*cked up; any terrible aspect you can think of and we have it. Maybe in another life.

Honestly though... I think positively on the south node. In fact, I think the SN to be more of a glue in comparison to the NN. Afterall, in vedic astrology, the SN is akin to Saturn and the NN akin to Jupiter - something "time-tested" versus "good luck/chance".

Someone brought up Taurus Mars earlier on LL which got me tempted to look up the synastry of me and a particular dude in a time where I was on an astrological lull. He and I had an EXACT Sun/NN conjunction! In fact, any time I have an exact NN conjunction.. the relationship vanished just as quick as it started! However, my longer relationships are those with SN contacts. So... the whole doom and gloom regarding the SN is something I'm pretty skeptical of.

Interesting that this thread has just been unearthed. I am inclined to think of Venus/SN being much less heavy than other south node synastric contacts, sweeter and more lastingly appreciative on the node person's part...

my Venus was on my baby's father's South Node--and i just found out my Venus also conjuncts my good friend's SN... makes sense, their birthdays aren't all that far apart..

I've broken up with my baby's father long since, but you know, we will always have this special connection. I know he'll always be fond of me. But an Aries NN must push onwards! so he does...
